The Walking Dead (Season 2)

Wow! That was an amazing season finale. All hell broke loose. It has to have beaten the record for most walkers in a single episode. And that sword-wielding person with the two walkers in chains... damn.

it was like playing Dead Rising all over again! :D

That's the thing about the Walking Dead. I find every second last episode seems like the actual Season finale instead of the real Season finale itself. The real Season finale seems like the first episode of the season, just like what Larry said.

Because of a lot of you all here, I've decided to start reading the comic books for The Walking Dead. I read the first issue last night, and I see the pilot for the show was almost exactly the same, even down to the zombie crawling around where Rick got the bike. That was awesome. The show definitely added some stuff, but I'm interested to see just how different the show is from the comic. I'm not one to really read a lot, especially books/comics, but this is one where I'm very interested, especially after I keep hearing about that certain character that was previewed/unveiled. Hopefully it won't take long to get caught up on the comic. I've already seen tons of spoilers though, but as long as I don't know "when" it happens, I think I'll be ok with them lol.

A few of the seasons of the Sopranos ended like this too, which was fine... it just isn't something brand new with TWD.

Pretty good ending! The new character felt a bit shoehorned in though.

They had to change it, because in the show they aren't going to take in 'strays' as they just established with Randall. In the comics, Michonne just shows up at the location where they are next. Now she has an Andrea escort to bring her there.

Like how if they just left the farm house for like 3 hours, all the zombies would have wandered away, and they could resume living there....

Or like how they drove past tons of really good military hardware in the first season.

Or how they don't have any go-bags for rapid escapes.

Or how they don't have to come to a stop when a zombie or two is in front of their car--that RV should have just kept rolling.

Or how all zombies would have already been dead due to decomposition.

That's true too but that's supposed to be part of the suspension of disbelief. Just like how a couple of machine guns would tear up a zombie horde. It wouldn't be too hard to clear out a crowd with some good terrain advantages and some flammable materials.

    • Yes I agree, it's annoying. You can now miss tabs unless you point low enough.
