Izlude Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 (edited) Hi folks! I'm wanting to take a photo of a Portrait of my gal pal and make a canvas copy for her. I wouldn't dare send the original in case it gets lost in the air traffic. It is a 24 wide x 36 high canvas and was told that I needed a resolution of at least 2048x1536. I've been having trouble with my cameras though. The quality is 7mega pixels but it comes out grainy even with the settings tweaked around. It's a Kodak c713. Not only that, the lense makes the painting look curved around the edges and that's no good as parts of the picture get cut off during cropping.
