HELP: Thunderbird through proxy doesn't work on Windows 7

Is anyone around here working with Thunderbird on Windows 7 and using a proxy to read their e-mail? It's not working with me, other accounts that don't need proxy, work fine if I disable the proxy, but all of them should work through proxy.

Any idea what's wrong?

I'm using a local proxy server and it was having difficulties understanding "localhost", cause it worked with "127.0.0.1".
