They are losing me with this Senior Cheng tangent. It's just distracting and takes away from the whole narrative.

They should have kept him as a student, reinstated him as a teacher, or kept him as a straight man as a security guard.

This new "crazy" Senior Cheng just seems to be spinning off into a sitcom's writer's attempt to force a comedic situation.
