fluxcapacitor Posted May 31, 2003 Share Posted May 31, 2003 For months I ran UT2k3 w/o any issues whatsoever. Now whenever I go to run it, the title screen pops up in Windows and just sits there. I've tried disabling anti-virus software, uninstalling background progs, different video drivers and sound drivers all to no avail. Here's my setup: Windows XP Professional SP1 + all current updates/fixes (except 811493) Albatron KX-400 8X 512MB Mushkin Basic PC2700 PNY Geforce 4 Ti 4600 SB Audigy Netgear FA312 NIC Netgear Prosafe Firewall/Print Server Logitech MX-700 Video drivers are det. 44.10s. Audigy is running Audigy 2 driver set/apps @ v.383s. Logitech MW 9.76 runs in systray. Norton Antivirus runs in systray. I actually just reformatted a few days ago and had UT2k3 running w/ no other apps installed besides sound and vid drivers but something ****ed it off to the point where it ain't gonna run. But like I said, uninstalling stuff trial and error brought me no luck. I have no F-ing clue what caused this but it has me fried to the point where I'm ready to take a sledge hammer to my system.
