AshMan
Does anyone know how I can get my PS2 to play CDs filled with MP3s? I called Sony tech support and they said that it can currently play CDs that have WAV files on them, well I might as well burn an Audio CD if I wanted that! I am sure it's possible to play MP3s, anyone have any insights as to how I can do this?

MvpOne
Look through some mod chip websites, they usually have hardware you can install in your PS2 to do stuff like that, but I havnt heard of an MP3 one...maybe, ya never know.
elatedmedia
If your system is chipped you can try PS2Reality, havn't tried it so I don't know how well it works.. Or if it's not chipped the only real way is to check out the QCast from BroadQ.. Basically it's a server program you run on your PC then connect to the PS2 using the network adapter.. It actually works pretty good, the interface is kinda clunky at times tho, but it supports pretty much everything.. MP3/AC3/OGG/MPEG-1,2,4/DIVX 3,4,5/XViD and JPEG and PNG..
