wow no reply yet?? I have changed it to RTM still same problem. It wasnt any problem with xp. so what the heck could be the problem. I mean it aint anthing to do with hardware I suppose coz if therez one then it would have hanged in xp too. how come no one could answer this in whole neowin community.

hmm, use the Windows Performance Toolkit and run a trace while disabling the network card:

run an elevated cmd prompt and run:

Xperf -on latency -stackwalk profile

now disable the network card

and wait until windows is responsiv again and type in this:

Xperf -d highCPUusage.etl

now make a double click on the etl and configure the symbol path:

srv*C:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols

and load the symbols (this may take some time)

now select the the interval with the high cpu usage and click clone selection. Now go to the diagram "Stack counts per type" and make a right click on the interval and click summary table and look which threads are causing the high usage.

when i double clicked it i got an error message. I've attached the snapshot. and by the way after taking a while like 3 or 4 minutes its responsive and automatically enable again? is something hijacking my networking card?. If this persists then i am not sure if i am going to buy windows 7

same problem again.... since the beginning of windows 7 beta i'm having this problem. lemme start it again

I have a GA-965P-S3 (rev. 3.3) Motherboard and inbuilt Marvel Yukon Lan, the thing is as soon as I disable my network card then the harddisk Led starts glowing and computer becomes inactive and I have to shutdown by powerbutton. Pliz note that I have this problem since Beta version. and do note that i have installed xp and tried with it nope it works fine there. I've even tried Linux and well it works there as well but it happens only on windows 7. what could be the problem? I dont thinks its gotta do with motherboard coz xp and linux both works fine. I managed to disable it once when i did that and left computer on for the whole day and went out when i came back it was disabled and when i tried enabling it, it became enable within a minute. didnt took long. but disabling takes like forever. and yup I did tried on Safe mode and safe mode with networking nope not working there either. Hoping for response. After many tries I did managed to disable in safe mode with command prompt but then i cant boot it shows the cursor after login screen and then well the harddrive led glows like before.. ultimately i have to boot in last known good configuration mode and the it will boot but viola the disabled network is enabled so i am back to square I when i do that with my usb wifi dongle it works but why not in my Lan card? as much as i'd like to blame my motherboard as i mentioned earlier it woks in Xp and linux so i cant i have to blame on windows 7. could anyone pliz help meh..

    • The better these AI models get, the more this is going to happen. It's gonna turn into government versus government in regards to using proprietary and unavailable security research models to basically find flaws and vulnerabilities in other governments or companies systems. It's basically turning into a cybersecurity arms race. This is actually a good thing. The better AI gets, the more restricted and expensive it's going to become, making it far less mainstream. This is good 👍
    • Crazy. The government fired everyone who was capable of actually understanding this. More security theater. Just checked it is gone from Claude.
