Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Transformers 3)

Bay has described the screenplay as ?feeling very different from the other two?, promising that the story will be much more about character, and will feature a lot less robots than Revenge of The Fallen.

Boring. That's what made the second film rubbish, too much toilet humour and lousy acting. I went to see it for the big fighting robots, that's what Michael Bay is good at after all :s

threequel

Wow, this is a word now? I mourn the English language.

<gets soapbox>

3D is pointless and over hyped!

</gets off soapbox>

Agreed. As good as Avatar LOOKED in 3d, it added nothing to the film itself.

not as bad as when they used "squeakquel" for the alvin and the chipmunks movie.

Now that was just a terrible name to give it.

You know, I hope Megan Fox gets her white pants dirty before the end of the film this time around. :D

^ There are so many choices, Unicron, the Dinobots, Ultra Magnus, Kup, Hot Rod, Arcee (done properly), Wreck-Gar (if they bagged Eric Idle for that, EPIC). I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Me Grimlock want to be in third movie!

Transformers 3 Will Shoot Big Action Sequences in Chicago and Moscow

I know this isn?t much, but Michael Bay?s official website has been updated with information big action sequences will be shot for Transformers 3 in Chicago and Moscow this time around. Of course, that doesn?t really tell us much, as the Asian power plant opening sequence of Revenge of the Fallen was actually filmed at a factory in Bethlehem, PA. The film is set to gear up soon, so we?ll learn more in the coming months.

There's a report that Ray Park (aka Darth Maul and Snake Eyes) will have "a lead role" in this film. But whether it'll be as a human character or as the voice of one of the robot characters, it's unclear. The report originates with a blog called LeftLaneNews which interviewed Park, but the video interview doesn't mention Transformers. So, you know, grain of salt. [LeftLaneNews]

Michael Bay says this movie will be totally new and different. "You can't just rehash the old. We're adding a lot of new elements. We're adding new characters. We're adding a lot of twists." [MTV]

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner hints the sequel might show a bit of the original Autobot-Decepticon war, and life on Cybertron. Or at least, we'll delve back into the robots' roots, and include more elements from their established past:

What we're really doing is getting back to some of the core character development and storytelling. And I think there's some elements of the core story that the filmmakers, Michael in particular wanted to tell. He's really well-versed in the Transformers lore. So I think you'll see, you know, less bedlam, more characters.

And yes, Shia and Megan are back, of course. [MTV]

A pretty minor spoiler, but apparently Bumblebee and Optimus Prime will be redesigned for this film. "Bumblebee's matured a little bit, so I would just say look for subtle changes to his physique that have him look more mature," says animation designer Scott Benza. And Optimus Prime will have very subtle changes that only fanboys will notice, but they'll make him more heroic, and maybe easier to render. And yes, there'll be new robots in this movie. • Exactly. They won't go 100 because current gen consoles are simply too old for any groundbreaking graphics or gaming experience otherwise. They will go with standard (console) price 70 or go with 80 if they really want to go premium. Of course they will have more expensive options too with some useless cosmetics as always.
    • Doesn’t surprise me at all. God is light & He gave us life so it sounds almost logical that we would therefore emit a certain amount of light.
    • This is what I want. Hey Gemini, how do I remove you from all my google products permanently?
    • I would never install install this build before rtm process. only 3 months to go. never install on your daily devices. just wait 3 months.
