Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Transformers 3)

Bay has described the screenplay as ?feeling very different from the other two?, promising that the story will be much more about character, and will feature a lot less robots than Revenge of The Fallen.

Boring. That's what made the second film rubbish, too much toilet humour and lousy acting. I went to see it for the big fighting robots, that's what Michael Bay is good at after all :s

threequel

Wow, this is a word now? I mourn the English language.

<gets soapbox>

3D is pointless and over hyped!

</gets off soapbox>

Agreed. As good as Avatar LOOKED in 3d, it added nothing to the film itself.

not as bad as when they used "squeakquel" for the alvin and the chipmunks movie.

Now that was just a terrible name to give it.

You know, I hope Megan Fox gets her white pants dirty before the end of the film this time around. :D

^ There are so many choices, Unicron, the Dinobots, Ultra Magnus, Kup, Hot Rod, Arcee (done properly), Wreck-Gar (if they bagged Eric Idle for that, EPIC). I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Me Grimlock want to be in third movie!

Transformers 3 Will Shoot Big Action Sequences in Chicago and Moscow

I know this isn?t much, but Michael Bay?s official website has been updated with information big action sequences will be shot for Transformers 3 in Chicago and Moscow this time around. Of course, that doesn?t really tell us much, as the Asian power plant opening sequence of Revenge of the Fallen was actually filmed at a factory in Bethlehem, PA. The film is set to gear up soon, so we?ll learn more in the coming months.

There's a report that Ray Park (aka Darth Maul and Snake Eyes) will have "a lead role" in this film. But whether it'll be as a human character or as the voice of one of the robot characters, it's unclear. The report originates with a blog called LeftLaneNews which interviewed Park, but the video interview doesn't mention Transformers. So, you know, grain of salt. [LeftLaneNews]

Michael Bay says this movie will be totally new and different. "You can't just rehash the old. We're adding a lot of new elements. We're adding new characters. We're adding a lot of twists." [MTV]

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner hints the sequel might show a bit of the original Autobot-Decepticon war, and life on Cybertron. Or at least, we'll delve back into the robots' roots, and include more elements from their established past:

What we're really doing is getting back to some of the core character development and storytelling. And I think there's some elements of the core story that the filmmakers, Michael in particular wanted to tell. He's really well-versed in the Transformers lore. So I think you'll see, you know, less bedlam, more characters.

And yes, Shia and Megan are back, of course. [MTV]

A pretty minor spoiler, but apparently Bumblebee and Optimus Prime will be redesigned for this film. "Bumblebee's matured a little bit, so I would just say look for subtle changes to his physique that have him look more mature," says animation designer Scott Benza. And Optimus Prime will have very subtle changes that only fanboys will notice, but they'll make him more heroic, and maybe easier to render. And yes, there'll be new robots in this movie. • Population especially in high density areas creates more heat and more humidity. This can be noticed in an indoor arena or concert room which heats up when the room or arena fills with people, without air conditoning to cool it down, Watering of lawns creates more humidity as the moisture from the watering rises into the atmosphere, creating a more humid condition. The again, depopulating an arena or room after an event will drop the temperature inside. Desert areas are less humid for a number of reasons, including a lower population density. Tel Aviv has horrible weather, unless you like it hot and humid. Summer days are regularly 90+ F with humidity well over 70%. It is probably not as bad as Mississippi but still it is bad enough.
    • Where is the "Wow!" emoji? This'll have to do 🤩
    • I hear you on browser password manager, in my case I have two Google profiles, one was created when Google decided to grandfather us out of Workspace for Domains (with the replacement being too expensive for 25 users) resulting in my domain email address no longer being able to be registered to a new Workspace I created (for myself and another co-owner) so I could use Takeout and sync over some stuff to the new Workspace. Then I have my personal Google profile which I could be logged into on my desktop or Mobile, so I am saving passwords on one or the other, and when an URL changes another password for the same service gets added, it basically ends up being a giant mess. Unless I missed something is there a local decent password manager that can override the browser password managers for Chrome, Edge, Firefox (profiles) so that there is only one vault, and does that also support Passkeys (which to me are still confusing because sometimes it will ask for a Passkey on a phone I am no longer using!) Microsofts implementation of Passkeys is the worst!
    • It's utterly baffling that we have no idea when we'll get new features even well after they've been released. Why Microsoft thinks this is a good rollout strategy is beyond me.
    • If it makes anybody happy, others will need to be bitter about it. (apologies to Yogi Berra)
