Sweet thanks.

I wish Sun would start giving out changelogs, and remove that stupid Web start fomr the defualt install, but other than that it's all good.

You Asked, You Receive :D

Release Notes JavaTM 2 SDK, Standard Edition Version 1.4.1_03 (Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Solaris Operating Envirnoment)

Everytime we use MS's java we basically kill Java.

Imagine if Flash(for example) had licensed flash to MS 4 years ago, and microsoft never updated it. Everyone who used MS flash was still at version 4 while macromedia was at flash 6. Since evryone on IE would be using flash 4 because thats what the majority of users are using it effectively kills flash's innovation because even though each new version adds something new since no one will move from the old outdated MS version few sites will support it.

Now of course Flash doesn't have this problem but Java does. Support Java and don't use MS VM.

macodin, your right, but frankly sun java (whether ms have made it this way or not) runs really poorly on windows- i do not like it one bit!

Once it is loaded it doesnt run very poorly. Loading the JVM does take more time that I'd like though. It would be nice if MS JVM were compatible with the Java 2 stuff.

Mr magoo's kinda right though as much as I hate it.

Suns Java does have problems. It is slower for some sites, plus alot of stuff for IE didn't work for a while like yahoo games.

Then Sun or ATI(both sides released a fix) that would allow java to crash windows.

It's just sad though because Suns java should be the standard. They do need to pull thier heads outta thier a$$es though and fix some stuff.
