What to do with my wii?

I got a wii veryyy cheap because of where I work, so I splashed some cash on buying another remote and a few games for it..but now i'm pretty bored of it.

Is there anything 'special' the wii can do other than play wii games? Ive never really looked deeply into this because I don't know where to look..

The homebrew scene on the wii is pretty amazing. Media players, plenty of emulators, fully functional .iso loading from USB hard drives... etc. Tons of great random apps, too.

There are LOADS of forums on the net that provide walkthroughs and links to the needed items.

Be carefull though. If you load the incorrect WAD files for your OS version etc, you COULD end up bricking your Wii. So always be 100% sure you are 100% sure you are following the correct guide for your device and using the correct WAD files etc.
