+John Teacake MVC Posted October 21, 2009 MVC Share Posted October 21, 2009 Stemming from the idea of this thread https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=829074 Show us your workstations, I have created this thread . . . Show us your server rooms! October 2009 to December 2009 I figured that some Neowinians must work in some cool places so post where you work! I will post some when I get some decent photos. +John Teacake MVC Posted October 21, 2009 Author MVC Share Posted October 21, 2009 Wow as if you have your servers in your "Family Room". And your wife doesn't mind  . Cool Pics Guys keep em coming ;) P.S That cabling doesn't look that bad! I think everywhere Cabling tends to get neglected as "Yeah we'll do that later" Just plug it in here for now to get it working etc etc
deactivated_
@ chadlachlanross: Must get hot in your family room no? Not at all. Windows computers are all the newer very thermally efficient Core 2 Duo/Quad or i7. Hard drives used for storage are all WD Green drives. Only one of the Macs is on full time and that's just the G3 that is never under any sort of real load. Also almost totally silent. Granted, those totally silent cooling fans are a little pricey, but worth it. Also helps that they don't generate much heat, so no massive amounts of cooling needed.
