[WZOR] New Windows 7 Build 7662 (SP1) Beta ?

Recommended Posts

this isn't legit, not yet, too soon. but man can you imagine how much better 7 will be after sp1? i mean it's almost perfect now! ;)

whats vista? jeez...i can't even sell my vista keys, people only care about 7 now.

Oh I'd buy it, really cheap anyway. One can never have too many legit licences of a still-in-use version of Windows. :p

Okay, seriously, all you people who are claiming its too early for a service pack.... why? Everyone complains about how Windows is "buggy" yet it's too early for a service pack? You'd think people would be EAGER to get those service packs, which will inevitably speed up and make their computer safer.... 1 year is the perfect target for a service pack, so i see no reason why it shouldnt be started right after RTM, and into beta a few months later.

hmmmm....

beta in dec/early junuary

that is just too early

Why is it too early? it has been at RTM for well over several months - Microsoft programmers don't just sit around playing tiddly winks.

People talked about 10.6.1 of Mac OS X when it came out whilst ignoring the fact that it had been RTM'ed for around 3 weeks by the time it was released thus making 5 weeks worth of development for the first update to be released.

Does anyone really see any serious problems that would need a service pack fix? For once I am actually happy with a windows version right off the bat. Therefore I wouldn't mind having to wait a long time for a service pack. If you do regular windows updates by time the service pack comes out you will pretty much have everything already

    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
