I've seen a lot worse movies.

The one downside to this movie is it had some pretty awful CG Scenes at times. The acting was also quite horrible.

As an action packed movie it tried its best. So I give it a C+

But damn some of that CG was bad.

Here is a screenshot I found online to demonstrate just how bad it looked at times.

The one thing I will give this movie credit for is the first action sequence in the first 10 mins of the movie. That was pretty awesome.

It's not a great movie, but it was pretty good fun - what Transformers 2 should have been.

Also, as far as I can tell the cheesy, cartoonish CGI was deliberate, and it if wasn't, then it sure as hell worked in favour of the movie. I wouldn't want realistic CGI like what we had in TF2. Sometimes cartoonish CGI does have its charm, especially in context of a movie based off a toyline.

I hear ya dude! Movie sucked, especially acting....

Although I like Dennis Quaid, who ever put Marlon Wayans in the movie should get fired.

Never the less, movie made some cash, it was pretty popular around younger population.... Actually believe it or not it got 37% on RottenTomatoes, I would have given it 10-15%

Cheers

I cannot wait to see this film, I personally think the American version of Action Man GI: Joe sounds a lot better than the British version Action Man, it just does not have the ring to it as GI: Joe does it, the special FX in this film are awesome one film I want to see.

I was really letdown by this. I didn't think the CGI was that bad in the trailers, but in the final movie, it was atrocious, to put it lightly. I've never seen a movie with such a large budget have such horrid CGI.

If that wasn't bad enough, the story was dumb and the acting was cringe-inducing. I get it's a movie from a toy line, but come on... Transformers was fine. It was somewhat serious, somewhat slapstick at times. But this was like it just tried to be B-movie material the entire time. I really expected more from the director of The Mummy movies -- at least those were a good time.

2/5

I wish they stuck to the original TV with the plot of this movie. Some of the stuff was too much for me, as it just seemed like a regular hollywood movie. It could have been better, and for that I can only give this movie...

7/10

A good kids movie, which is more than I can say for Transformers2. It was canon enough that it didn't make me mad, except for this possible B.Fraiser as Sgt.Slaughter business. The overblown CGI was generally well intentioned and fun, even if the blaster pistol got old quick. Maybe I'm prude but it could have easily just gone the PG route and lost the deaths. Hell, even the Wayans put in a palatable Ripcord and the (brunette) Baroness is always welcome on screen (sorry Megan, you're just a prop). Duke and Cobra notably my least favorite characters, though I do like it that the scientist finally snaps and turns the table on the military industrial complex.

Misc Errata:

-Snake Eyes has a plastic mouth, seriously WTF

-Like a retarded cobra, CC waits until his base is destroyed, his missiles shot down, and then decides to reveal himself to the world just as they put the cuffs on. Some supervillan. At least the recent animated movie had a decent ending. Plus, Cobra Commander is ****ing vain, why is he going to put on a helmet that accentuates his hideousness?

-The Baroness backstory was painful and bad on so many levels. So you are ****ing this guy to weaponize...a weapon?

+Mindbender was all win

+Totally unnecessary weapons and vehicles, sell those toys! They even worked in the underwater supercanon, how cheese was that!

+Quaid isn't onscreen long enough to annoy me and predictably went down like a bitch

Eh, this. I for one thought it was catastrophically bad. It had no redeeming qualities other then Sienna Miller and felt like leg humping scene from TF2 expanded in to a full feature film. Eye-rolling bad and perfectly fitting in Marlon Wayans's recent career.

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
