I dunno, maybe it's because it's a condensed image but in that picture it looks way better than the screens in your link.

Personally love WipeOut: Pulse. It is pretty much the only game I play. Not sure if people will back me on this though.

The Dissidia screenshot is really old too, the released game looks nothing like that at least in the way the UI is laid out on the screen. :p
