Please can anyone help me. I've tried to logout of my hotmail account to no avail.

I don't know how to change my browser settings? I've changed my password, but it still won't let me log out Please can you help me? I'm using MAC OS X and SAFARI

I believe she is running Safari on Mac OS/X. Is there an easy way to add hotmail.com to her list of trusted sites or does Safari not work that way?

I was thinking that would solve her cookie issue without interfering with the way that Safari does with the rest of the internet.

This error also started for me recently. I use Firefox on PC, but has set it to block 3rd party cookies. But I had it like that for long, and Hotmail did not give an error before, so Microsoft have changed something on their end. Dunno why I shouldn't be able to log out from Hotmail with 3rd party cookies ignored. I just ignore the error for now.

In Safari for Mac OS X, how do I view and control cookies?

In Safari for Mac OS X, to view your cookies or change your cookie settings, follow the instructions below:

In Safari, from the Safari menu, select Preferences... .

Click the Security tab.

To enable cookies, next to "Accept Cookies:", select the radio button for Always or Only from sites you navigate to. To disable cookies, select the radio button for Never.

To view your cookies, click Show Cookies. In the sheet that drops down, you can browse the list of cookies on your computer. To remove one or more cookies, highlight the cookie(s) and click Remove. To remove all cookies, click Remove All. When you are finished, click Done to return to the preferences window.

If I select Delete ALL COOKIES will I cause any problems with the computer? I'm not very computer literate, and haven't got a clue what COOKIES do? It doesn't help that this is not my computer it's my daughter's so I'm nervous of doing anything with it!

Cookies track how often you visit various sites and what your preferences are for those sites. If you delete all of your cookies then certain sites will appear as if you had never visited them before.

Hotmail wants the ability to create cookies. To solve this problem there should be no need to remove (or delete) cookies.

You want to do the bolded part. You do not want to do the red-coloured part.

    • This is weird. Mythos is more unrestricted compared to Fable. Technically it poses more risk!!
    • This is a great thing, I always have issues with Verizon while inside of certain football stadiums due to the saturation and walls blocking signal so a LOS way to connect would be great. Verizon was supposed to be offering sat data this year but I've not heard a word of it lately. Dude is sending rockets into space in a cheap manner, low waste foot print and has a great product with solar/battery tech. We would be so far behind China right now if not for him and a push to get back into space.
    • illegally? Proof of that? Seems you are posting misinformation or well a pure straight up lie cause there is zero proof of such a thing. But I get it...
