[Official] Assassin's Creed 2

Played and finished, it was alright, probably took between 30-45 mins to do.

Wasn't anything great, and finishes where sequence 13 is to begin, so you won't know what happens unless you buy both.

If you have the extra money lying around in your account on XBL/PSN and want to get rid of it, and you like AC2, then I'm sure it is worth it, but it was a bit meh in the end.

I agree, it was a quick breeze through, but it was fun. If you want to fill in the gaps, it's a good pick up. I'm kinda glad it came out, I have 37 more feathers to ago and I didn't really want to go hunting, but now that it's in my console, I guess I have an excuse to finish it off. :)

No trophies were added to the PS3 version, so I would guess no to the achievements as well.

thanks

i really love the game and im only missing 3 achievments (the painting one is glitched for me! :() but i feel like im done with the game story wise so does this push Etzio's story forward? or is it an unnecessary plot?

feather location guide for anyone else that needs it... im going through it now :(

It is just a gap filler, the parts it shows weren't really necessary in the game. Basically like a deleted scene from a film.

Ok so I played the addon today. I won't say I regret getting it but I must say it wasn't anything too special either. I think it lived up to its name of being a battle, unfortunatly I found the fighting mechanics of AC2 to not necessarily be the stong point so having such a combat heavy addon wasn't all that exciting IMHO. Still, it was relatively cheap so for fans i think it's probably worth getting if only to fill in a few holes. It also ended on a bit of an edge too which is a decent lead in to the next one which should hopefully be a bit more exciting too.

It is pretty short but so if you are on the fence or don't think it'll be enough I think it wouldn't be a total waste to wait until the next pack is released and play them both in one go. It might be a bit more substantial that way.

They might bundle them for a retail sale but I don't think its something normally done for digital purchases?

I think they'll be sold seperate and they'll release an Assassins Creed GOTY edition at some point that includes the chapters on the disc.

By the way, the DLC does not include any trophies or achievements. And the first one is completeable in less than an hour, and appears to still not have the polish of the full title (broken AI, etc.).

It does not but it gives you the chance to do Fly Swatter again.

actually on that note, I wonder if they'll include it in the PC release or not given thats not out until March. Would be a nice "thanks for putting up with us" gesture if they did.

I'm pretty sure they're including everything for the PC version, can't remember where I read it, but there will be a version with all the DLC :)

Borrowed it from a friend for a few hours - making me run out and buying it now.

I bought and beat the first one over christmas break from school a few years back--enjoyed it for what it was, then re-sold it.

I'll probably do the same with this.

Love the storyline and gameplay... just not really replayable.

I hope they put one in ancient china. That would be sick.

Or London during the 1700's

One thing I LOVE about this game is all of the background info you can get by pushing the back button on the controller. I learned that Da Vinci created designs for a helicopter and solar power!

    • Can confirm, I've built stuff for others and no complaints using their products.
    • Yes I agree, it's annoying. You can now miss tabs unless you point low enough.
