I absolutely love my logitech nano mouse. It's perfectly designed for laptops.

Personally, whenever I use my laptop (which is quite rarely nowadays) I use the trackpad, but i've never really used the external mouse, I've always just used the trackpad tbh.

I voted mouse, trackpads are just useless. I have a MacBook Pro now, which probably has one of the best trackpads out there, and it is still useless. You can get absolutely no pixel-precision with it. My choices would be...

Mouse > ThinkPad TrackPoint > touchscreen pen input > graphics tablet pen input > notebook pointing sticks other than ThinkPad TrackPoint > trackpad.

Once they eliminate the delay on touchscreen input, it will probably be my first choice.

I use both Wireless and wired Mice but the trackpad is hard to use though it is dooable.

After converting from a desktop PC, I always used to use a mouse on my laptop - But now i've got used to using the trackpad !

If the laptop is stationary (on a desk, table, etc), I normally use a cordless mouse. If I'm in class or on a couch or something, I just use the trackpad.
