+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted November 12, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted November 12, 2009 Nope, you can't. Not natively (Without tools like Boot Camp etc, which all require a Windows license). It may be ported at some stage though - but it's usually way down the line. You can get Call of Duty 4 though, Aspyr ported it to Mac. I'm assuming they will also port MW2. It took almost a year to port CoD4.

Kalint
It should also be noted that the PC Version of Modern Warfare 2 has been lambasted to hell. Console version recommended.
Raa
That's the problem though... Console was recommended and the PC gamers get shafted. Classic chicken & egg symptom. Damn consoles! Is your iMac fairly new? Bootcamp it and play it on that side?
Snakehn
we can't really tell you unless you post the specs of your iMac, some iMacs are powerful enough to run some games, but you need Windows installed in bootcamp like somebody mentioned here. +Thayios Subscriber² Posted November 12, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted November 12, 2009 If the drivers in bootcamp are enough...might have to turn down the settings.
zulugod
There's an unofficial port (r4nd0m (portingteam.com)) going around in the wrong places that works great except for multiplayer because of the key activation issue. Solo and co-op no problems. So technically it runs under macos and runs well from all the feedback i've read. More Info here

If you can live without the mouse (I couldn't) get the 360 version. Both the PS3 and PC version are fairly shoddy in comparison. There is a bloody good reason why it was the only version demo'ed pre-release!
