BoDEAN
My arcade didn't come with HDMI adapter. Do I need to drop money on one from MS, or will just using an HDMI cable be sufficient (and cheaper)? I've read you dont get digital sound with the HDMI cable alone? If you have an older amp/reciver with SPDIF for digital audio, yes, you need the MS kit. If you have a newer amp that accepts HDMI audio all you need is any HDMI cable. BoDEAN
Thanks for the quick reply. My receiver has 3 HDMI in's and 1 HDMI out.
SMELTN
I bought an el-cheapo HDMI cable from the local Gaming shop and it works great.
bob_c_b
Thanks for the quick reply. My receiver has 3 HDMI in's and 1 HDMI out. You might be okay, but you'll have to find out if it accepts HDMI audio or not. My Onkyo SRX-505 only passes video via HDMI, not audio so I actually need the MS Kit with the digital audio adapter. I just plug my 360 HDMI right into the TV and run the SPDIF to the amp.
