CohenT Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 When the PC is turned on it boots to the 'starting windows' message then hangs until I have to turn off the PC and then back on again. Each time the message displayed is the same i.e. windows did not close / start correctly do you want to run problem finder or start windows normally, I choose the latter and the system starts OK. I ran the problem finder a few times and it doesnt find any. I am using a store bought copy of windows 7 32bit pro. The problem is happening everytime I turn on the PC. The system works fine and always starts up on the second try when I choose start windows normally. Anyone have any idea of a fix, i have reinstalled windows 7 atleast 3 times trying to fix this and it hasnt helped. Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
