We have a buzzer system and our UPS guy isn't like this. Unfortunately FedEx failed to buzz in or even dial at all to the managers (us). We caught him on camera just staring around and leaving the door slip. Douche-bags much?

HAHAHAHAHAHA, that's hilarious. So true.

I once had UPS come to the office when I was standing right by the door (Within 10 feet). They knocked (shocker). When I opened the door I watched the truck pulling into the street... I still have no idea how he even got from the door, into the truck, and to the street that quickly (I walked right to the door when they knocked...).

Lol so true...the fedex here is weird.

If they fail to deliver a package that requires a signature, they leave a slip saying sorry we missed you yadda yadda and give you the option of collecting your package at the local fedex store after 5.50pm.

Thing is..the fedex store closes at 6, so you have a 10minute window to get your package lol

Citylink in UK are as bad.

It was my day off and I was watching the online tracking website for my parcel.

It said on route to drop off (ie. me!) and i kept refreshing the page...

looking out the window for the citylink van...

refreshing the page...

no sign of van. no knock or ring. refreshing the page.

status changed: "Attempted delivery: no answer"

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-

they lie!!!

I had something similar happen to me too. I believe with DHL... I ended up complaining; they said they would redeliver it, then never showed up... When he finally showed up (A full 2 weeks later), he was driving a rusted apart station wagon that was falling apart. I'm surprised the thing ran. The driver didn't even have a uniform either, he was wearing a red plaid shirt that was missing like the top 6 buttons... :| Horrifying...

I have the same problems with UPS.

Ordered parts to build a PC from the web. UPS failed to deliver on a monday and left a "missed you" card. I called them up every day till friday to re-arrange another timeslot. They either never showed up or showed up earlier and I missed them again

Called them up friday afternoon saying, OK, you can now return the package to the store as this is pointless. Don't forget to explain to them why they lost a 800? sale due to you being incapable of sticking to pre-arranged times. UPS manager calls me up 10 mins later, asking if a "special delivery just for you on saturday morning" would be OK. They showed up on saturday at 7am:D:D
