There are plenty to choose from..

Here took 2 seconds to find one.

Driver provided:

Windows NT4.0, 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, Server 2003 32/64bit, Server 2008 32/64bit, XP 32/64bit, Vista 32/64bit, Win7 32/64bit

Retails for $21 ;) Can't really get cheaper than that..

Marvel Yukon Gigabit Chipsets are fully W7 x64 compliant.

They come with W7 specific drivers out of the box, the newest version you can find here too.

If you want to pay more $$ but get one of the best options even for server corporate environments Intel Gigabit Controllers are the TOP.

Windows 7 has fantastic support out of the box for almost all brands of network cards, and usually Vista drivers do work in Windows 7 for Network cards with no ill effects, as apart from homegroup support the network stack hasn't really changed a great deal.

Can anyone recommend me a fully compatible win7 x64 wired gigabit network card?

Needs to be fully win7 compatible not with vista drivers.

Can anyone recommend me anything cheap please?

Many thanks

The best one is the "Intel EXPI9301CT" and they have Windows 7 32 and 64 Bit drivers.

I've got two machines with old Realtek RTL8139 cards (or similar) .. and they work just fine. All necessary drivers were installed by Win 7 x64 straight away.

I bought these from the local Staples store about .. 5 or 6 years ago I think, so I don't think you will have any probs with more modern cards!
