[VS] Win7-Blend for Windows 7

Recommended Posts

it's a great style but I like you wanted a little more transparency on the taskbar...the only way I knew how to do it was replace the images in question using Restorer 2007

so I did until I was happy with the end result...I ended up having to do the start menu also though so they matched..:)

just want to say the style is excellent...I only adjusted it for personal choice.

Can you kindly guide me on what image to edit to make my taskbar more transparent (personal use, of course)? I know I can replace an image using restorator, but I have no idea which to replace. :(

well i get it..

u are not using the files in the x64 folder..

they have the default icons..

and which theme did u download??

v 1.8????

because i fixed this bug in that.. :) and its fixed.. check it up :)

ah no i don't have that version..

will let you know how i get on :)

that is the latest one..

download that :)

and its the final one so i hope it works for u :)

plus ive changed everything to grey from blue.. changed the fonts aswell.

it turns out i did have 1.8, but i have reapplied it now and it seems to work fine.

hope it won't appear again when i reboot.

fingers crossed :o

How could i go about decreasing the transparency on that, or maybe changing it to a shade of gray may look better?

But sorry for nitpicking before i properly thanked you, i think it was said best earlier that the changes are mostly subtle, but they make a huge difference.

All I keep seeing with these windows 7 visual themes is different wall paper showing through the Aero to give you a different color. I'm just not seeing any difference between the different VS's other than wallpaper.

The square VS looks different, but the these others all look the same, diff wallpaper + icons, thats bout it..
