Huleboeren
The 5-6gb are probably installation files
Sethos
Exactly, usually it only installs the most important files and leaves stuff like video, certain audio ( music etc. ) and other contents on the disc - With the digital version, it all is being installed to the HDD. I though nobody does that anymore and everything is installed by default including all the videos and other materials, but i suppose it makes sense

I can't think of any PC games in the past 6-7 years that keep some content on the disk after installing...?
NienorGT
Herm... the 5GB requirement is for the data that would have been on the disc when you install...

HyBry
Dirt 2 have the HD5700 as recommended card... I am sure that is to do with DX11 and not too much performance wise
Zain Adeel
well BC2 is Dx11 aswell :) i read it somewhere.. so it musnt be that.. i played the Demo of DiRT 2 and it is a heavy game.. witheverything maxed out my NFS: Shift does 70 80 plus.. DiRT 2 hardly goes over 50 with everything max and just 2x AA .. and the res i play is at 1024x786
Death Proof
So that means that i can play it on my Q6600 , 9600GT , 4Gb ram .... at full specs as my resolution is a paltry 1280x1024 .... Right ???
ThisSiteHasLostItsCharm
I thought 1943 is a download only game?
LingeringSoul
Yikes, a 260 as the recommended video card? We'll see how well my 9800 can perform here. I've got a Quadcore and 8 GB of RAM, so everything else should be okay. Speaking of RAM, does that 2 GB recommendation seem a little low to anyone else? I expected to see that for the requirements, but not the recommend specs.
The_Observer
Good! I like games making use of my modern hardware. i know me too, and im about to get me a Q9400... so ill be sweat to play this with no problems... Speaking of RAM, does that 2 GB recommendation seem a little low to anyone else? I expected to see that for the requirements, but not the recommend specs. yea i would think 4gigs for a recommendation for me about right and 2gigs a mem, my rule of thumb is 2gigs mem min for vista/7 for playing games!
