I rarley died due to losing my shields and health... got killed in cheap ways like a grenade outta nowhere while im shooting a different enemy, or stupid plasma cannons from tanks...

Tribute room in Reach. Gotta complete the part where you defend Halsey's lab on 'The Package' on Legendary. A hidden switch opens up, then you can enter a previously locked door. 10 or so gold elites come out with swords. Kill 'em/run around 'em and into the door you'll be transported to a hallway, which leads to a room. Pretty cool

Also, on Oni: Sword Base, I was running around and notice I had a "Hold RB to open door prompt.". Googled it and found the following video, then procedded to do it with a few friends. Overall was fun, if not pointless.

Saw this yesterday and think it's cool. Only bungie...

So apprantly Commendations that are silver and above in Campaign quit getting credits.

So say your doing "Splash Damage" (kill enemies with heavy weapons), you wouldn't get credits for killing the with a heavy weapon, only credits once you reached the the max number for what every rank you are on.

And for that matter:

Iron rank (1 bar): rewards 100 cR

Bronze rank (2 bars): rewards 600 cR

Silver rank (3 bars): rewards 1200 cR

Gold rank (4 bars): rewards 2400 cR

Onyx rank (black bars): rewards 4800 cR

Onyx rank (black bars with red flames): This rank is when you max Onyx, no idea if it awards anything. Few people have 'em, nobody's said anything so I can only assume nothing.

ah ok I get it now.. so pretty much when you reach your rank (wherever it is) you will get all of your credits. After that, you won't get anymore until you hit the next one. lol.. I got a bit confused at first but I get it now. Also, nice find on the two easter eggs.

Ya so using the Firefight MM one 'Dome Inspector' as an example here. It requires you to kill an enemy with a headshot in FF MM. So if your commendation, 'Dome Inspector' is at Bronze, Iron or unawarded than you get cR for performing the headshot (on grunts you get 6cR, 4 for the kill 2 for the headshot). After the commendation is silver you only get the 4cR for the kill. Even though your commendation is still progressing, you just receiving any cR for performing the action. Instead you get a large sum of cR once you max that rank out. This only applies to campaign commendations though. FF and MM ones you get that extra CR all the way.

And can confirm you get nothing for maxing out Onyx rank.

Emile in the campaign is the most useless AI helper of all time.

all of them are almost useless, i was pistol whipping carter through one whole map cause he kept hiding around the corner during battle, crouched, not firing. i thought i saw him crying,, so i hit him

My favorite thing during Halo 3 co-op campaign was to kill my men during the Flood missions so they'd turn against us.. making it even more a pain in the ass to go through it on legendary with skulls :D.

Reach is lame only 'cos I couldn't TK if I was playing by myself :(

"If They Came to Hear me Beg"

I managed to assassinate an elite on my fourth or fifth try by jumping off the huge cliff on the Pillar of Autumn mission, but I didn't get the achievement. Unfortunately, you won't get it if your sprint is still active when you perform the assassination. :(

Took me a solid 30 minutes to do it - more frustrating achievement I've ever attempted!

If you go back a few pages to my post about the fiasco I had to deal with when getting that achievement, you'll see that it took me forever as well. But, the assassination that finally unlocked the achievement happened when I let sprint run out on it's own. The only thing I could tell that I did differently was that I was not holding "forward" when I performed the assassination.

Also as some others have noted. Replay your attempts in theather and move the camera to a 3rd person view to see if your character is hitting the ground right before you do the assassination. It won't count if you do.

How is it that they can make the enemy AI so good, and the friendly AI so bad??!

They purposely make friendly AI worse than the enemy's so that the AI doesn't play the game for you. If the rest of Noble team and any marines that you grouped with were as smart as the Covenant, then all you would have to do is sit back and wait for the shooting to stop. Since Noble team members can never die (

pun?

), every battle would be as simple as letting them kill all the enemies.

Yeah i had that same problem on Exodus. The whole ground team didn't do anything. They didn't even shoot near by Grunts. I would see them hiding and the Grunts would just walk past them. *facepalm.

Yeah but I wish they could at least drive properly and not face the damn warthog in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION! mad.giftongue.gif

I started playing Legendary last night and finished second level on foot (for the achievement). My goodness, Legendary is not easy by any scale. I think bungie has drastically reduced the ammo scattered on the map - it was almost as if I was playing with famine turned on. :|

It only seemed that way as it takes so many clips to cill an enemy.

I have to agree there.

My boyfriend parked the Warthog on the edge of a cliff and got on the turret to take out some of the enemies while I snuck in and stole a Revanant. Dear, sweet Kat hopped into the driver seat and literally backed the Warthog straight off the cliff, without preamble. Just hopped in, and backed up the few inches it took for it to slide into oblivion, then jumped out just before it did.

The bitch.

    • So, recently, I saw on the news (yes, on this website) that Samsung is introducing features where it can provide education using AI-powered sets, and because of this, I got concerned about whether the AI gives out wrong info during education sessions, causing controversies in the process. What are your thoughts on this?
    • TCL's Bang & Olufsen soundbar is 40% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The TCL Design Series A65K is currently $299.99, down from $499.99. That's 40% off and $200 saved on a soundbar tuned by Bang & Olufsen, which is not a combination you'd normally expect at this price point (purchase link below). Bang & Olufsen doesn't typically show up in the sub-$500 category. The Danish audio brand is known for speakers that cost several times more, so having their acoustic tuning on a $300 soundbar is very appealing. TCL handles the hardware, B&O handles the sound engineering, and the result is what the company calls "accessible luxury." Still, accessible luxury isn’t full-fledged luxury, so don’t expect wonders. But this is a decent soundbar, nevertheless. The A65K is a true 3.1.2 channel system with nine physical drivers, including genuine up-firing height speakers for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Many soundbars at this price simulate overhead effects through virtual processing, rather than actual hardware. So, you’re getting the real deal. The design is unusually slim for a system with Atmos compatibility. The bar is just under 2 inches deep and should fit beneath most TV screens. The wireless subwoofer is also compact at roughly 14 x 14 x 5 inches. Total output is 460W, and you can connect to the soundbar via HDMI eARC, Bluetooth 5.3, or USB. There are also eight sound modes through the TCL Home app and an AI calibration capability. Although it’s worth mentioning that AI capabilities in most of these devices are inconsistent, to say the least, and that shouldn’t be the biggest selling point. Still, at $299.99, the A65K is a strong buy for anyone who wants a soundbar that sounds and looks noticeably better than what this price range usually offers. And the Bang & Olufsen branding surely sounds nice - pun intended. • And he paid Joe Rogan $30M for podcasts. Terrible company.
    • I sure hope the AI does not give out wrong info during education
