Haha, really? That's awesome.

yeah too bad I didn't have a capture card at the time!

I have to agree there.

My boyfriend parked the Warthog on the edge of a cliff and got on the turret to take out some of the enemies while I snuck in and stole a Revanant. Dear, sweet Kat hopped into the driver seat and literally backed the Warthog straight off the cliff, without preamble. Just hopped in, and backed up the few inches it took for it to slide into oblivion, then jumped out just before it did.

The bitch.

oh that ######

That sounds like a feature to me, Bungie has made playing with the AI nearly indistinguishable from playing with strangers over Xbox Live.

I'll have to go back and record a video of it, but I don't think she was intending to drive it off the cliff. It was on a rock that sloped back off the cliff, and when the AI's get in the vehicles, a lot of times, they kind of move it back and forth a bit before they start moving (if they start moving). I think that's what she was trying to do, and the position just caused it to slide right off.

That was when not being able to kill Noble Team's AIs became frustrating for me.

I had a marine do the same. It might have something to do with a pathfinding issue for the AI. Although it wasn't really sliding off so much as a full throttle jump off the cliff for me.

Ah my mate got it and he pretty much forced me to get it, completed the game with him in one sitting :p. Campaign was a little short (completed on normal in around 5 hours) but it's halo, it was fun, story was quite decent. If anyone is up for matchmaking or firefight let me know GT: balubear.

Playing in normal is a breeze, u can practical slap everything to death while running through. Try Heroic or leg.

Wants the confetti armour addon.

I started playing Legendary last night and finished second level on foot (for the achievement). My goodness, Legendary is not easy by any scale. I think bungie has drastically reduced the ammo scattered on the map - it was almost as if I was playing with famine turned on. :|

They did legendary in such a cheap way. The covenant can't miss.. every single grenade drops in front of you, every shot hits you. Cheap deaths. Nothing really challenging in terms of playing.. it's more like being lucky and running around hiding from everyone.

I finished a few chapters on Legendary now and it's extremely annoying to play. Such cheap tricks to increase difficulty.

Aren't most games like that when you ramp up the difficulty, the AI just gets superhuman powers and aimbots from hell. :/

Kat is a terrible driver. She once started driving for me and toppled the Warthog within 5secs, got in again and she managed to repeat the feat.

Took me a solid 30 minutes to do it - more frustrating achievement I've ever attempted!

I just tried it again today and got it on my 10th try. I'd say it's harder than the solo legendary achievement.

If you go back a few pages to my post about the fiasco I had to deal with when getting that achievement, you'll see that it took me forever as well. But, the assassination that finally unlocked the achievement happened when I let sprint run out on it's own. The only thing I could tell that I did differently was that I was not holding "forward" when I performed the assassination.

Also as some others have noted. Replay your attempts in theather and move the camera to a 3rd person view to see if your character is hitting the ground right before you do the assassination. It won't count if you do.

[...]

Ah, I didn't see your post nor did I check my replays. After many tries, I found out that you have to land slightly behind the elite. The mistake I made was continuously trying to land on the elite's head for the assassination. Also, you have to time the melee strike near-perfectly otherwise you'll die.

Wow! I just tried Team SWAT and it's amazing. So far, it's my favourite matchmaking game-type. Invasion is also fun but it can get one-sided very easily. Two out of the three times I played it, I had unskilled players on my team that would only go for kills.

Finished the solo campaign earlier today. I really can't think of anything positive to say about the story or its ending except .

I so enjoyed Halo/2/3 soooo much more.

This is surely eBay bound within 1-2 more weeks. (soon as nba2k11 comes out most likely) Then, I'll use the $ off it to pay-off my MoH/Cod reserve.

Anybody here do matchmaking? Getting a little tired of people quitting after the game starts ...

I usually play in the evenings USA Arizona time. Normally I play firefight or co-op campaign with people. Trying to raise my rank and get some achievements. If you want to play, PM me...anyone else can as well.

So, for the longest time I've been under the impression that getting the achievement for beating the campaign on Lengendary by myself was going to be the one achievement I'd never get. However, after playing some MM last night, I think I'm going to change my mind and say that "An Honor Serving" and "Make It Rain" will be two achievements I probably won't ever get. I played for a few hours last night and barely made a dent in my progress towards Warrant Officer Grade 1. That's 4 levels away from Captain and 12 away from Lt. Colonel.

So much for 1000'ing this game. :(

I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong but I average 700-1000 credits a game. Sometimes, I get as many as 2500 if I complete a daily challenge. Is there a secret to getting more credits? I usually play team slayer and firefight with the odd game of invasion or team SWAT.

bungie has an article on their website about it. I think you get credit for pretty much everything. Team support, headshots, contribution to team score and others.

    • That is $130 more than I paid for my 4TB a year ago. How is this a deal?
    • JetBrains' new AI-first 'IDE' JetBrains Air is now on Windows by David Uzondu JetBrains has announced that JetBrains Air, its Agentic Development Environment (ADE) is now available for download on Windows x64 and ARM. You might not be familiar with JetBrains Air. It's this new desktop app that the company launched back in March 2026 to let developers hand off tasks to AI agents instead of writing every line manually. You can see it as more of an Agentic Development Environment (ADE) rather than a traditional Integrated Development Environment (IDE). The latter builds its features around a central text editor, while the former arranges everything around the AI agent itself. Here's how JetBrains describes it: Air was born from the ashes of Fleet, an experimental editor that the company quietly killed in December 2025 after realizing that competing directly with VS Code was a losing battle. The company repurposed Fleet's lightweight, modern architecture to build Air, transforming a basic code editor into a workspace for running multiple AI agents. When Air launched, it was only available for macOS. It wasn't until earlier this month that Linux users got a chance to play with the software. Now that Air is on Windows, you can do things like map out a complex feature in Plan mode and watch an AI write the implementation plan to a markdown file before writing any code. You can iterate on this plan, add references to specific classes or files, and choose whether to run the agent locally or inside an isolated Git worktree. Running agents in parallel means you can have Claude refactor a database schema in one branch while Codex writes tests in another, leaving you free to do other important things. You can even set up a pipeline where Claude writes the code, and Codex reviews it. At the moment, Air is free. If you have a JetBrains AI Pro or Ultimate subscription, you get full access to the built-in agents, though there's also the option to Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) to run APIs from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. If you're interested, here are the download links for both x64 and ARM64.
    • Depending how you’re wiring it internally, but try to put it inside conduit, that way in the future you can more easily replace cables, compared to running inside studs alone At least cat6a too
    • I bet Meta has lots of info on you anyway, gathered by other means. And Google, and Microsoft, and every other tech giant. If you use some form of modern electronic device, they own you already...
