...nevermind. i went ahead and got the bundle to check for myself.

theyre fine on x86.

edit:

Here's the thread in which the fix can be found for anyone interested.

I'm seriously thinking of getting Left 4 Dead 2, do you think it's worth it? I'm currently enjoying playing L4D2 but in Cyber Cafes.

After playing Left 4 Dead I dont think I'll get the 2nd one. There is no clear cut story in the game and the entire game is just killing zombies. Usually by the 3rd part in a campaign Im sick of it and just want to finish.

Anyone on 32bit Win7 and get either MaxPayne to run?

I'm contimplating getting the bundle as its beyond crackhead priced. $3.74 USD for BOTH!

According to this thread, Max Payne 1 will work on 7.

You may however run into some sound issues it sounds like, but it has instructions for that...

~$40 for mindless zombies running at you and you enjoying melee combat? I decided against it and will not buy anything until it drops under $15 or something better comes out. I can't bother spending more than $30 for a game anyways.

Well you should know then. I'd wait until the last day of the sales but in case they do a further drop before then.

thanks. yea i went ahead and purchased the bundle to check for myself. mp1 ran without any problems except for missing narrative. other sounds were present.

i followed up my post with a link to a thread (same one you just posted :D) where they have a sound fix. it seemed to work beautifully.

mp2 started up and plays through without any problems what-so-ever.

great deal!

Any chance of gifting it to me? I'll redeem you :)

How can they put Crysis on their daily deals if it's not even on sale? That's the price the package has been since the start of the holiday sale, possibly even before the sale. And $7.49 for Half-life: Source? Seriously, the game is a decade old. For a sale I would expect it to be around $1.99

I'm thinking maybe they didn't update the prices yet, Yesterday's deals are still at the sale price.

    • It's expensive, but I bet it will still sell out just like the Steam Deck and the Steam Controller
    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
