Well, it was nice to see Vettel fall victim to karma with a tyre puncture, after crashing out Button. Hopefully, Hamilton will cruise his way to the win now.

Nice to see Kubica still in 2nd. That'll be a nice surprise if he finishes on the podium.

And I'm amazed at Sutil; how easily he overtook Schumacher! :o He's still going strong in 5th.

Oh! Just as I was typing this, Hamilton ran off! He's still in the lead, but he really needs to pit now and switch to the intermediate tyres. And then in the pit lane, Vettel almost caused another accident, this time with Alonso!

OK, the top 3 all pitted, and Kubica's lost 2nd place to Webber. He overshot the pit stop, and almost ran a mechanic over.

Speaking of Vettel's near-miss, it's being investigated by the stewards. He'll probably get another drive-through penalty.

Vettel what a p***k, took out Button then nearly took Sutil out he needs to calm down when racing stop driving on the edge causing issues for everyone else. Im glad whine-onso is out. Feel sorry for Rubens not the kind of race he wanted for this 300th GP.

Well that was a bittersweet result, my boy Jenson taken off thanks to Vettel could have been a Mclaren one two, at least theres one Mclaren on podium. Im VERY happy that Alonso took himself out and that Massa had a relatively good race. Love the sound the Mclaren makes on lift off.

Webber: Red Bull will have to prioritise

Mark Webber has hinted that it will soon be time for Red Bull to put its weight behind a single driver in the championship battle, as he pulled further clear of team-mate Sebastian Vettel in the standings by finishing second at Spa.

Lewis Hamilton and Webber have made a break in the title chase by finishing first and second in Belgium today. They are three points apart at the head of the standings, with their team-mates Vettel and Jenson Button respectively 31 and 35 points behind Hamilton with six races to go.

When asked if he felt Red Bull should now favour him over Vettel, Webber suggested that the team might have to adopt such a stance if it was serious about beating McLaren to the crown.

"McLaren have won many championships and have a good trophy cabinet, Red Bull have a good trophy cabinet but not as good," said Webber. "I think it depends on how hungry we are to try and do that.

"I think it is too early at the moment to say that [one driver should be prioritised], but maybe there is a different strategy compared to McLaren.

"It's still too early at the moment but not too far away."

However Hamilton believes that his McLaren team is not yet considering favouring either of its drivers despite the changing points situation.

"I think today Jenson was very unfortunate," said Hamilton.

"I get the same treatment as Jenson and vice versa, and that enables us to both score maximum points, so I don't feel there should be any preferential treatment. The team do their best, the maximum for each of us so no more they could do."

He also denied that the title battle was shaping into a straight fight between him and Webber.

"You have seen in the last few races how quickly things can change so we still have a long way to go, and many points to be grabbed by any of us drivers fighting for the championship," said Hamilton.

"The closest rival to me at the moment in terms of points is Mark but I still think the championship is open. We want to make sure that is not the case after another few races."

Vettel needs to go back to driving school, once again he's showed his complete lack of overtaking ability

QFT.

Vettel deserves the 'Reject of the Race' award for today's GP. Red Bull Racing are better off focusing on Mark Webber for the rest of the season imho.

Good drive by Hamilton (the one mistake near the end of the race notwithstanding). Thumbs up also to Mercedes GP - their strategy gamble paid off this time. 6th and 7th is a decent result given their starting positions.

Alonso... I am disappointed by him. After Friday I had expected a much better result.

After today the title race has essentially boiled down to two and a half contenders: Hamilton/Webber and maybe Vettel. Although - if he keeps making mistakes he'll be completely out of the title race as early as after Monza.

It was not so long ago Vettel had more points and Red Bull did prioritize him, so now that Webber got a clear lead in points, he is reminding them about that. :)

    • Nvidia is your issue more so than linux itself. I did used it for a while with an old 1060 3gb, but using propietary drivers was kind of messy.

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
