It should be that Canada has to beat USA twice to win the gold. Not really fair that everyone else has to be defeated twice before you're eliminated. But if you get to the gold medal match undefeated and you lose, that's it. Doesn't really make sense. Let's go team USA.

Obama and Canada?s Harper Wager Beer on Hockey Game

Feb. 28 (Bloomberg) -- If the U.S. men?s hockey team defeats hometown favorites Canada in the final event of the winter Olympic Games, Prime Minister Stephen Harper will suffer the added ignominy of having to buy U.S. beer for his counterpart to the south.

President Barack Obama and Harper have made a ?friendly wager? on the gold medal game, said White House spokesman Nick Shapiro. If Canada wins, Obama will buy Harper a case of Molson Canadian. If Canada loses, Harper will buy Obama a case of Yuengling beer, with headquarters in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
