Not a huge hockey fan in general, but I have been keeping up with it in the Olympics.

Go USA, kick some bootay!

Same here but I will watch ANY sport that's gets to tournament/playoffs!!! :D

USA will at least win Silver unless Finland gets a Miracle comeback victory.... In Hockey like Soccer = VERY SLIM!!! :D

Too bad the refs were Canadian sided and didn't call the the penalties properly. Now there is an investigation by the Olympic committee about inappropriate behavior on the ice after the game, so the Canadian team might lose their medals.

Oh, I agree with the Russians too, Vancouver wasn't fit to host the Olympics.

go to the city, then talk ****. easy to judge something when you're not there and just seeing whatever you want on TV and internet. The olympics have been amazing so far.

my fins are getting raped :( poor koivu :(. i knew the states had a good team but WOW!

Oh, I agree with the Russians too, Vancouver wasn't fit to host the Olympics.

1) Over drinking on the ice post-game? Come on now. If the refs were that biased, or if there was serious misconduct during the game, sure. But that's going a bit too far for post-game conduct IMO.

2) And why is that?

edit: so seeing from the posts up there, looks like it may come down to a Canada-USA rematch after all... IF we survive tonight.

3 refs, 1 Canadian, 1 USA, 1 (i forgot, from Sweden or something).

As it should be. Although:

Marie-Philip Poulin, who scored both goals for Canada in the final, was shown on the ice with a can of beer in hand. Poulin doesn't turn 19, the legal drinking age in British Columbia, until next month. The drinking age in Alberta, where the Canadian team trains, and Poulin's native Quebec is 18.

Oops. :p (didn't know Alberta also has the legal age at 18)

Haha when you score 6-0 in 1st quarter you pretty much can score 0 for the rest of game to win the game! :D

if we lose to the states next game im going to be completely embrassed we are losing to a country who doesn't even know the sport...

They certanly know how to play it, when was the last time a Canadian team won the stanley cup? :p

too bad most of the winning teams players and captains are all canadians

and other then like 6 american cities no one even watches the game. i mean in florida they litterally give tickets away for free. just because they are winning in the states, doesn't mean they know anything. new jresey can't even sell out in the playoffs. Most of the teams down there are run by canadians... but this is a different topic all together.
