MagicTune for Samsung 226BW (Win 7x64)


Question

I downloaded from here:

http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/learningresources/monitor/magetune/pop_download.html

MagicTune Premium for VISTA, WIN7 64Bit International Download (version 3.0.5)

After i installed i get a message:

This Computer system does not support MagicTune. Click the ok button and click on the "Goto MagicTune Web Site" buttin to refer to the home page.

When i click there it back me on the same page:

http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/learningresources/monitor/magetune/pop_download.html

Please if someone can help me. MagicTune is awesome program and it very easy for use. I do not know anyother as this one :(

Have you installed the drivers for your monitor first? Because it could be looking for a specific monitor, but without the drivers not see it.

Other than that it must be a win 7 error or conflict with the display adapter.

Have you checked their compatibility list? http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/learningresources/monitor/magetune/pop_compatibility.html

^ Monitors don't have drivers. They have .inf files.

Not true. What would you call this:

driver.JPG

Even if it is just a .inf file. That is all that some drivers are.

Yes, i have.

Now i checked. Hmmm.. My card is ATI 5770, there is not on the list. What now?

Now you just can't use MagicTune. Unless you want to invest in a different video card.

I tried out the program since my video card was on the list only to find out that my monitor has to comply as well. (As stated in the help file included with the program).

It's a monitor calibration file. Not a driver. An .inf file is an information file- not a driver.

Does exist similar program as MagicTune where i can set up everything?
