NVIDIA Geforce Drivers 196.75 WHQL released!

Thanks. Hoping it miraculously fixes BFBC2 performance, but since I see no mention, only SLi support for it, so yeah, not holding my breath.

try messing around with the application profile. i am getting pretty good performance from my dual 9800gtx+. just tweaked a few things on it

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU

The drivers still cause performance problems in TF2 and L4D2. Back to my modded set, I guess...

edit: There's a modded 196.75 set available; give this a try if the official set doesn't work out for you. I last used their 195.62 set which works great with TF2/L4D2.

Hmm this is weird, I never have a problem with drivers nowadays but this version killed my ability to run smooth video using the "EVR Sync **" option in media player classic. Normal EVR is fine though.

This driver has now been revoked by NVidia amid fears it's frying graphics cards

I haven't had trouble with this driver, it's seems more stable for me on my GT220. seems I should now uninstall it to be on the safe side

Blizzard is Warning users to revert their driver version if they are using this version. Due to Fan speed issues causing over heating int the cards.

We're getting reports where users are getting intermittent low FPS after installing these drivers. It seems that it is related to the fan control included in these drivers not working correctly and is causing the video card to overheat on 3D applications. This will affect Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2 Beta. Please uninstall the drivers and revert back to the older ones.
