The more I think about it the more this guy seems PERFECT for the role of Stannis (Y) Would you by any chance know if that particular casting has been confirmed Rappeh?

I have seen nothing only what is on that site....so not confirmed yet but I am sure he needs the work so he would be stupid to turn it down!

Wow. This is an epic show. I just finished watching the season finale and I'm still in shock.

I can't believe they beheaded Eddard Stark. When I saw that blade cut through his neck, I yelled out "Oh my goodness!" I think that had to be the biggest surprise of the show. Daenerys Targaryen's dragons were somewhat obvious. After all, she had the eggs for awhile. It's a shame she killed Khal Drogo. He was the biggest badass of them all.

Anyway, my favourite character is Tyrion Lannister. He's witty and almost-always says the best thing to get him out of a bad situation. I also like Lord Varys (the bald guy with no testicles). He's mysterious and secretive, but in a seemingly good way since he "serves the realm".

Oh Rappy, you always seem to post things JUST before I do...

Anyway... I *really* should give this series another try. I tried watching the pilot a while back, and fell asleep. For some reason, I just couldn't watch it. Everyone is recommending it though, so... maybe I'll have another go at it.

yeah I didn't like the pilot but I stuck with it and it worked out well! :D

I think the pilot is the weakest episode imo, i very nearly stopped watching it but i stuck with it and every episode just gets better than the last.

Well, I had never read the books prior to watching the show (actually, I had never even heard of the books). But, I was excited none the less. Now, I'm done with the show.

The pilot was ok, but the next 4 episodes were boring as hell. Some action finally came around the 5th/6th episode mark, then Ned was stupidly killed in the 9th episode. I didn't even bother to watch the last episode of the season. This show is dead to me now.

Too bad, because it follows exactly the books, also that is what launches some big events in the future.

    • Honestly... 4 wasn't fun, 5 had unlikeable, annoying, or dull characters... Yeah, to me the magic died with San Andreas.
