Finished the game. :)

Also got "Superstar" on the last boss. Gotta love it when Light/Fang/Hope all hit for 99999 at 800% stagger. :)

Gotta say that ending is by far one of the most amazing I've seen from any game.

Hope they do a second one and continue with this story and if they do, hopefully that isn't a failsauce like X2.

they are that whats FF13VS is all about the only thing is i think only one char goes to the next story not all from FF13

What is that big thing that looks like a Titan from God of War in Gran Pulse? Do I have to fight that in a mission?

His name is Titan, lol.

I just got to his part of the game today... if you have to fight him or not, i'll let you find out the fun way :)

but seriously, I don't think you do.. he has a challenge for you to go beat.. it's a competition.

I now have 71% of side-missions done :) I finished 1-38 and a few here and there done.

I'm getting ready to go and do some and keep doing 'em till I get 5 star before I move on.

Did some farming in Taejin's Tower (misson 24) for some much needed Gil (6k a pop) and CP (12k w/ growth egg). Got one role maxed out for each toon and have all there 30k nodes for the 3 major ones. Figured I'd mix it up a bit and go do some missions before I go do some more grinding.

Do you have to get 5 stars in all missions?

After Mission 14 I went ahead and tried to get the Growth Egg. That thing killed me with just one attack, my character are in the 7000-8000 HP. After a few tries I got lucky with Vanille and Death but I wasn't prepare for the little guys. I have no idea how I did it but I finished the fight with 5 stars and got the Growth Egg

Cool thanks.

How on earth did you get the growth egg? I've tried so many things.. and I just can not kill that big bastard. The death trick doesn't work for me :(

Ahh, another "success" story. I've tried the death trick on a few big monsters, all unsuccessful.

What level was vanille's staff?

I don't remember well but I think it is Healer's in Level 2. I'm upgrading Hope/Light/Fang weapons. That is my main team.

What I did was enter the fight with Fortisol and Aegisol. Vanille was SAB, Fang SEN and Light MED. Started trying Death on the big guy. I got killed a few times. When it worked it was like in the third try. After I killed the big guy Fang and Light got killed and I summon Vanille's Eidolon but I messed up and Vanille got killed too and the Eidolon went away. I was back with the 3 girls and used COM/SEN/MED kill the little guys. I thought I was going to get killed but the MED did the job :D

Death trick for mission 55 (growth egg) for me, took 3 turns.

I have all accessories and weapons now except about 4 (ultimates on Lighting, Fang, Hope, Sazh, Vanille). Just farming money now.

you do not need 5 stars to complete all missions, but you get a trophy/achievement if you DO 5 star them all.

the best thing to do is to clear them all without worrying about speed and the last mission (64) drops an accessory called Gold Watch. it increases the time allowed in order to get 5 stars, so you can go back and 5 star everything after.

What level was vanille's staff?

Vanille was at 7k. Hope was at 6.5k and Snow was at 10k. Snow had a 500 HP accessory and a a belt that reduce physical damage by 10% and another belt that reduced all damage by 5%. Hope had a 250 and 300HP equip'd with a 100 magic.

Vanille had one 500HP and two 100 magic equip'd with Malboro Wand (Improved Debuffing II) at lvl 20. (tier 2)

Started fight with Aegisol and Fort shrounds. Vanille as Sab, Hope as Medic, Snow as Sent. It took me 3 attempts. First attempt I died, second one I got it off but failed to kill the little guys (wrong paradigms setup) and third time was the charm.

Yeah those are great vids.

Finished the trials last night, all 5 star. Mission 51 is pretty long haha, took like nearly 9 minutes I believe.

Been farming turtles in Eden in order to get some monies, I killed 14 in a row this morning and not a single drop, no trap or ingot. :( at least I got a load of CP though.

6 more missions to go, 5 dark matters to farm, about 5 million gil and then I'm done. >_< 76 hours I think so far.

    • Anthropic introduces Claude Tag, a new AI teammate for Slack by Fiza Ali Anthropic has announced Claude Tag, a new feature that lets teams work with Claude directly inside Slack. The idea is simple: once Claude is added to a Slack workspace and given access to selected channels, users can tag @Claude in conversations and assign tasks. Claude can then work through those requests using connected tools and data sources before posting its results back into a Slack thread. What makes Claude Tag different from a typical chatbot is that it's designed to operate as a shared assistant for an entire team rather than a single user. Everyone in a channel interacts with the same Claude instance. This allows the team members to see ongoing work and continue tasks started by others. Furthermore, Anthropic says the AI can build context over time by following conversations in channels where it has permission to operate. This means users don't have to repeatedly provide the same background information for every request. The system is also designed for asynchronous work. Instead of waiting for responses in a chat window, users can assign a task to Claude and return later once the work is complete. Anthropic says Claude can break larger requests into multiple steps and use connected tools to complete them. Moreover, the system can also schedule follow-up tasks and continue working on projects over extended periods. Another feature allows Claude to keep the users updated and follow up on unresolved tasks when its optional "ambient" mode is enabled. The company says the tool is already being used internally for software development, data analysis, support workflows, and debugging. According to Anthropic, around 65% of its product team's code is now generated through its internal version of Claude Tag. For organisations concerned about security, administrators can control which channels, tools, and data sources Claude can access. Separate Claude instances can also be configured for different departments, helping keep information isolated between teams. Administrators can also monitor activity logs, review completed tasks, and set spending limits at both the organisation and channel level. Claude Tag is now available in beta for Claude Enterprise and Claude Team customers and runs on Claude Opus 4.8 that was announced this May. The feature will also replace Anthropic's existing Claude in Slack application, with current users able to migrate within a 30-day migration window. Lastly, eligible customers will receive introductory credits to help teams evaluate the new experience.
    • Beats Studio Pro wireless over-ear ANC headphones drop to their lowest price yet by Fiza Ali Amazon is currently offering the Beats Studio Pro headphones at their all-time low price. The Studio Pro use 40mm active drivers which are designed to improve clarity and reduce distortion compared to previous models, with up to an 80% improvement over the Beats Studio3 Wireless. A built-in digital processor adjusts frequency response to keep the sound balanced rather than overly boosted in any one area. They also include Active Noise Cancelling that adapts to your surroundings to reduce background noise along with a Transparency mode that lets outside sound in when you need awareness of what’s going on around you. Furthermore, the headphones support personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking as well as Dolby Atmos playback on supported content. Moreover, built-in voice-targeting microphones improve call quality. You can also switch between three sound profiles including Beats Signature for balanced music playback, Entertainment for films and gaming, and Conversation for clearer voice in calls and podcasts. Physically, they are designed to be worn for long periods without feeling heavy or awkward. The ear cushions use UltraPlush engineered leather while metal sliders allow you to adjust the fit. On the connectivity side, the Studio Pro use Class 1 Bluetooth for a stable, long-range wireless connection. There is also a 3.5mm input if you want to plug in directly, including use with in-flight entertainment systems. Controls are located on the headphones and include a "b" button for music and call control, a volume rocker, and a multifunction button used for switching listening modes, EQ settings, power, and pairing. In addition, the headphones offer integration with both Apple and Android devices. On Apple devices, they support one-touch pairing with iCloud-linked devices, hands-free Siri access, Find My tracking based on last connected location, and automatic software updates. On Android devices, they support Google Fast Pair, Audio Switch between compatible devices, and Google Find My Device tracking, with additional features available through the Beats app. When it comes to the battery performance, it is rated at up to 40 hours of listening time with ANC turned off, and up to 24 hours with ANC or Transparency mode enabled. A 10-minute Fast Fuel charge should provide up to 4 hours of playback. Finally, the headphones use a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charge via USB-C.
