Matt B
http://store.steampowered.com/app/901297/ 3rd-party DRM: SecuROM?10 concurrent machine activation limit This is what the steam page for the game says, so unless your running 10+ copies of the game at the same time on different machines I really don't think it'll be an issue
Sethos
Plus you can de-authorize the game and get an activate back - Someone is making an issue of nothing for a bit of attention  And yes, BC2 all the way!
Chasethebase Reporter Posted March 8, 2010 Reporter Share Posted March 8, 2010 But surely if your PC gets reformatted or somewhat you work into that count because it hasn't been uninstalled... If it's on Steam then you don't need any other DRM because it's tied to your account surely? But back to the OP, BFBC2 is a definite. I would have said Counter-Strike: Source and it's counterpart Promod but they don't have ADS. (Unless you get a modified skin, which replaces the silencer with ADS on some weapons). AJC.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2, it may not be exactilly what your looking for but that game made me never want to play MW2 again, EVER! Also if your into Source mods, and like Goldeneye then check This Mod out.
dead.cell
Is Goldeneye: Source any better than the laggy mess it was a couple years ago? Tried it back then and it was terrible...

LOC Veteran Posted March 9, 2010 Veteran Share Posted March 9, 2010 Is Goldeneye: Source any better than the laggy mess it was a couple years ago? Tried it back then and it was terrible... It's not laggy at all nowadays. Then again if you play on a server on the other side of the world, lag :D
ViperAFK
Except for a few bugs and connection issues. MW2 still has those problems. Actually IWnet definitely has more than "a few bugs" :)

Then again if you play on a server on the other side of the world, lag :D But of course! lol, ever been on a Japanese server? My god... you thought some of the American mods were crazy, hearing crazy Japanese announcers with funny sound effects is insane! It's like playing in a virtual Japanese comedy show. Anyhow, Battlefield: BC2 seems very tempting now given the numerous good reviews. Should I buy it through Steam or retail? Thinking I should probably put this Best Buy gift card to use. :p
AJC.
Is Goldeneye: Source any better than the laggy mess it was a couple years ago? Tried it back then and it was terrible... I never found it to be laggy but the new version has improved on the mod a lot and added rocket launchers and Grenade Launchers. Might I also add that I have totally stopped playing MW2 and now I'm all for BF: BC2, I just play GE:S from time to time when I'm bored. If you do get BC2 though you really need a good gaming computer because that game really takes up your resources, but that's what you get for the amazing explosions and destructible environment :)
