game_over
192.168.16.4 is the IP Address of the firewall server that holds ISA. (firewall.westview.local). We have a complicated setup. the firewall has 2 NICs Internet / 10.83.112.3 LAN / 192.168.16.4 Your assumption was correct i changed the log query to only show activity from ports 587 and 445 and 25 (Destination port?) and get nothing. So basically this sort of activity has been blocked by the guys who manage our switches. We are a school and our service is provided by the local authority. I just manage the server and firewall at that level, when it gets into the hubs n stuff it's contracted to them so it's likely to be well password protected. game_over
Unfortunately no, but i don't think the issue is ISA Server. I'm not sure but i've given up anyway. Yes i can access mail from my browser. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/881980-access-imapsmtp-behind-isa/page/2/#findComment-592377968 Share on other sites

If you can access you email account from browser using ISA server then definitely problem should be Outlook Express, MS Outlook, or thunderbird configuration settings... check the attached screenshots and try configuration again on outlook client... +BudMan MVC Posted July 11, 2010 MVC Share Posted July 11, 2010 (edited) This reminded me of how much of a Cluster your network is.. As we discussed in your other thread.. Its amazing any protocols are working on this network.. Your double natting, and running different networks on the same physical hardware, etc. From this thread https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/912640-isa-server-and-osx/ Server - 1 NIC -> SWITCH IP Address: 192.168.16.2 Subnet Mask: 255.255.252.0 Default Gateway: 10.83.112.1 Preferred DNS: 192.168.16.2 We went over in that thread how much of a cluster that is!! You had both interfaces of the ISA plugged into the same switch, with 2 different addresses on the interfaces, even though plugged into the same hardware.. And you were getting ""Status: A packet was dropped because ISA Server determined that the source IP address is spoofed. "" In that thread I told you how to fix that issue, and how to correctly wire your network if your going to run 2 private networks, 192.168.x.x and 10.x.x.x Your problems stem from having one of the must jacked up networks I have ever in my life had someone describe to me.. ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/881980-access-imapsmtp-behind-isa/page/2/#findComment-592889304 Share on other sites
