I Just bought Battlefield Bad company 2. Downloaded beta and i wanted to play a game. It does nothing it says connecten lost. or cant find connection but i am connected to internet.

Is this a common problem. How can i fix this?

If you are using Windows 7 make sure you go to the BFBC2 folder and run the bfupdater.exe in Administrator mode. That fixed it for me

If you are looking for a new BC2 clan & you live on the west coast, you can apply for my clan @ vagrantclan.com then click "join vagrant". We have our server already bought and will be hosted in Seattle so we our trying to get as many people to join us on vent. We are focused on being a gaming community rather than a competetive clan so if this sounds good to you we will be happy to have you around, mind you we are 18+ only.

Alright i understand this but i dont know how to go in safety mode to run as administrator. I Got a new computer since one month and never used safety modus.

But i only got 1 account on windows 7 and i think i am the administrator.

When i see my bootscreen wich button do i need to press. Cause i see F10 System recovery F1 Boot Menu and ESCAPE. But none of these getting me to use safety modus.

Just go to the file he talked about and right click on it. From the menu select Run as Administrator. No need to go into safe mode.

No no. Go to your desktop like normal. Open up My computer and browse to your bf beta folder and right click on the icon and click on Run as Administrator

Check this out: http://www.ultimateprestige.com/

You need to be a BF veteran though.

EDIT: Check this out too...

Tonight, we dine in hell!

But seriously thou - that was awesome. Even I approve it, althou i generally dislike any kind of fragvids. Also - there was quite alot footage from bc1 as well.

I had a feeling you guys would like it. It was a well-edited video, even though it did have a fair bit of Bad Company 1 footage (as indicated by the circular map).

Awesome video on the last page. I love watching a good frag video, and having Nine Inch Nails is definitely a plus in my books :).

I finally got around to playing the beta (PC) today, and good God did I play badly. This is my first Battlefield game since 2142 (I missed out on the first Bad Company entirely) and the years I spent playing DoD, CoD, and TF2 definitely dulled my senses somewhat. I'm slowly getting better, though. I'm playing as a medic quite a bit, since that LMG is really easy to rack up kills with, lol. I'm just making sure that I don't resuscitate people at bad times, as per the comments made a few pages back :).

I was pretty happy to see people working together, though. Seeing a group of infantry move as a unit towards one of the objectives was definitely satisfying. After playing CoD4 and MW2 for so long, I was beginning to forget that such a thing was possible on public servers :).

Ratio is a bit lower, but I've done better that that 2k :D

I posted this already. Doesn't show up anymore though, so I'm posting it again. Combat score isn't all that but the ratio is WIN.

But still. Achieving high k/d ratio is much easier than get a higher combat score.

Especially with a vehicle. Got this without even trying :D :

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Sonic Racing, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games store brought along two games from wildly different genres this week for PC gamers to claim. Robobeat is a rhythm-based action game that lets you become a bounty hunter that can wall run, slide, and bunny hop around his opponents. All you have to do is stick to the beat for the built-in or custom songs. Next, Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station. It uses tabletop RPG-inspired elements like dice rolls and timers to change up how players approach its activities, factions, and storylines. The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways end on June 25. On the same day, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will become the next freebies. The bundle space expanded with two more collections from Humble this week too. The June 2unes bundle is up first, carrying plenty of rhythm games. This carries Kill the Music and Rhythm Witch in the $5 starting tier, followed by Trombone Champ, Spin Rhythm XD, and Thumper in the $7 tier. Paying at least $12 gets you the complete bundle, which adds on Kalpa: Cosmic Symphony, Everhood 2, NOISZ, and Sixtar Gate: StarTrail. The next bundle is for virtual reality fans. This carries Among Us 3D: VR and Zero Caliber VR for $10. The next tier brings in Tactical Assault VR, Ancient Dungeon, and Arizona Sunshine Remake for $15. VTOL VR, Zero Caliber 2 Remastered, Metro Awakening, and Thief VR land to finish things off for $18. Free Events It's a big week for free event fans, as Valve kicked off another one of its Next Fest events. This one carries thousands of gameplay slices from upcoming indie games The promotion is set to run until June 22. Standard free events are also ongoing this weekend. This includes the sci-fi grand strategy experience Stellaris from Paradox and the hit SEGA management game Two Point Museum. Asymmetric multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight and the hit mech shooter MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries are also free-to-play over the weekend.
