I agree, sniping is useful when defending but not as useful when attacking, I'm not saying its a complete waste of time whilst attacking on rush however.

Conquest needs ticket "bleed" changes in my opinion, holding the flags doesn't really do a whole lot the ticket bleed is so low and goes down with kills instead of the old school way.

I haven't paid attention to the bleed, but it must not be too bad. I was playing a game and we did really well at first and took all the bases and somehow we got rushed and pushed completely back into our base. We definitely killed more of them than they did of us, but we just could not get out to recapture the flags (base is surrounded by cliffs). We ended up losing the game by a pretty decent margin. Maybe it was just so bad because we had none of the flags, and it isn't so bad if one team just has a majority, I don't know (I know previous games even a majority was ticking down points pretty quickly).

I think maybe they decreased it to keep the games running longer.

EA Online is currently investigating an outage of the servers that affects a number of EA games. A fix will be done as soon as possible.

What a surprise work all day and wanna chill with bc2, OF COURSE NOT

Good news: "R5" servers plus server maintenance should resolve most of the connection issues.

Bad news: The EA master server is down for the count. No word on when it'll be back up, just that it's being worked on as quickly as possible.

Did you know? More people are playing BC2 on PC than both consoles combined.

I am off for about an hour and a half. Habnad, I will catch up with you, Sluggo, Jerry and Larry around 9.30 your time (Y) See ya then dudes :D

Looks like for now it'll probably be just Sluggo and myself. Jerry doesnt have it yet, and don't know what DL is up to tonight.

Catch you in a bit.

Not even a question here. Conquest is the mode for me. Only way I play Rush is if the people I am playing with already are playing it. If I have a choice, never rush.

With that said, I want to check out Squad Rush, I like that concept, and still want to check out Squad Deathmatch as well. But all about Conquest here. That is the BF mode to me.

Sorry bro just saw this now. Unfortunately I am not sure I will make it on tonight, movie night for me and my wife, but if there is anyway I can I am going to try my best to perhaps get on a bit later on if at all possible. If not, definitely we will play soon, no doubt.

Same for me. I do not like rush one bit. Squad deathmatch is fun, as long as your not stuck on a squad of 3 snipers not getting any kills. Squad rush is really fun, but you really need a squad. Do not go in solo or duo. 3-4 would be your best bet. Communication is super key in that mode.

So, all i have to say is THANK YOU DICE.

I know its STILL not offical that the work is done till "3am american time(est cst pst, WHICH ONE lol)" but me and 4 buddies on xfire just loaded the server browser quick as hell. Since day one all of us(i told them) use the filter options ot find a good server, and its always loaded quick. But when i went to login, it was just as snappy as BF2 or 2142.

Im still gonna take a break. Just got home from work and gonna play COD.

But thank you DICE for pushing EA, if it was there choice they would of just taken there time.

Hey greeneye sorry but I cannot not make it tonight. I really wanted to but it turns out I have an early day tomorrow planned with the wife (which she just let me know about 45 minutes ago, have to love the married life) and I know if I jumped on with you guys I would have definitely not just been able to play a round or two. I would be up way later than my early day tomorrow calls for.

Sucks, but there will indeed be many more opportunities to get together. This game will be my go to MP game for months and months, if not more or less this entire damn year.

Enjoy the rest of the time you play, and good night. (Y)
