This game is ridiculous on PC. One of the worst multiplayer experiences I've had in a while. Can't connect to EA servers, punkbuster kickouts, game doesn't connect to servers, just hopeless.

I've been playing all morning without any problems.

On 360, you search for a game type and it searches for a while then sends you back to the screen where you choose the game type, no error message at all!

I had to laugh, I had joined near the end of the game, and the only medal I got was your tags.

LOL Not sad at all, it has inspired me to start doing it as well. I am big on the PC screen-shots, so why not the 360 ones.

What is funny is we were just playing, and I heard habnad say "well Pheee from Neowin is on, he just stabbed me" or something like that LOL

You basically joined us as we began our slow and steady decline to absolute suckyness. :laugh: Me and habnad started out so well, placed first for at least 5 matches, then we just kept going lower and lower for some reason (as Greeneye pointed out earlier). When I eventually said this is enough and I am not into it anymore, I had the lowest score in the entire match, just something weird happened.

Well I got inspired by taking photo from the Thread Sethos started about a misc place to show screenshots etc of games, random stuff basically. I have taken a couple of my better rounds, so slowly starting to get a tiny collection of shots.

Yeah, we did start to decline to suckyness real fast.

Ended up having the same rough set of matches later on into the night, got angry and quit out (which i almost never do), went back on as Assault class after having a smoke (figured why bother being Engineer since you weren't tank whoring :laugh: ) then the "flow" came back and started just running things with Doug and Greeneye.

I've just about had it with this game. Crash after crash, the beta was more stable.

Reminds me why I ditched PC gaming in the first place in favour of consoles.

so because your having problems with the final game that added a lot of optimization and etc, you think pc gaming is a pain? Lmao are you confused?

Something mist be wrong on your end if your getting CRASHES. Check your drivers. If you have an ati card good lucky with that. But Its your choice what you like don't dump on pc's because you like something simple like consoles.

@Billius: ARE YOU NEW to this thread? Follow battlefield blog. Issuses should be fixed after tonight there last big maintaineance. If you don't like it QUIT PLAYING. The more people like you stop playing the less the stress on servers. All this is happening because of the influx of people. There's long term players like me, sethos, dl, anaron, etc. Then there's people like you that complain. Hell besides the ea server issues whenever I got past logging in the game ran fine. Haven't played since yesterday because I'm waiting till tomorrow morning after all the maintainance is done.

Yes, I'm complaining. I paid for this game, I expect it to work. I've waited for EA to iron out the teething issues, but the game has been available for over a week now and the problems still reside. I may be in the minority, but there are others (specifically ATI users) who simply cannot play the game for an extended period of time due to these crashes.

My drivers are up to date. Don't patronise me.

How on earth is it my problem? I'm doing nothing out of the ordinary and like I said, I'm not the only person experiencing similar problems.

And how can you be so certain that ATI is to blame? Could well be a bug in the game code. Is there any way I can check the crash log?

Yeah, it's a 4850. Game runs well when I actually get chance to play.

The CTD's are not a driver problem. I had NONE since release day (and had played tons) until the r6 server update and now I get them often, that points to a network problem with bc2 causing ctd's for people.

The CTD's people got using the server browser in the beta when the master server was having issues further reinforces this. So yeah its DICES problem.

The CTD's are not a driver problem. I had NONE since release day (and had played tons) until the r6 server update and now I get them often, that points to a network problem with bc2 causing ctd's for people.

The CTD's people got using the server browser in the beta when the master server was having issues further reinforces this. So yeah its DICES problem.

I started getting them after the R4 release. Mostly though, I get a display driver crash. That could be ATI's fault (problem with the driver) or it could be a bug in the game.

I've now unlocked everything for both the assault class and the engineer class. Time to work on getting the gold medals for all the different weapons. I've tried ranking up the medic and recon but I just suck with 'em...

Yea mate, of course I'll complain. I spent 80 bucks on this thing and I want to play this if I've got time to kill, without any hassles. Great to hear your a long term player, it doesn't mean your any good; I bet there's still those "n00bs" who beat ya. And if your complaining about an "influx" of players, maybe you should consult EA and make them limit the amount of copies they sell.
