Uhh, it shouldn't be a joke. This POS is hard crashing, BSOD'ing, CTD'ing in a boatload of systems, including mine. I shouldn't have to mess around with every setting imaginable to get it to work, (it's still flaky by the way) when all my other games work perfectly. Also, ATI load times vs Nvidia load times? WTF?

It's a great game - when it works. I regret paying so much for it.

i agree with all of those points, especially the loading. since going from my 8800gt to my 5770, loading between maps have been longer.

Can someone recommend another gun to use. I've have whored the crap out of M60 and the XM8 Compact. Need something in the same kind of power bracket.

I'm really loving the M416 as well. I use single burst with it since I tend to engage the enemy at a little lengthier distances to give me time to switch to shotgun if they are coming at me. I go to the XMP with Red Dot when I feel like throwing the controller out the window - which has happened rather frequently the last 2 days or so.

I raped with the AEK-971. Just play with different ones and find one you like or just go back to using the OP M60 with 4x scope and snipe it up.
Well so far any of the XM8 variants and the M60 are my favs to use. XM8 Compact in particular is a brilliant weapon.
Probably my favourite gun in the game, although keep in mind that I've only been playing Assault. It fires in three-round bursts and the rate of fire is rather slow, so it's definitely not for everyone. However, I always slap on the 4x scope when I'm using it, and it's great for long range maps like Atacama Desert.
Well I went whoring last night with the AN-94, and I love it. Three-round burst fire isn't an issue. As I aim to kil, not to tickle. And you only need one round of burst fire with 1 or 2 headshots to kill. The damage is insane. Had a K/D ratio of 4.0 last night (Y)
I'll usually switch between the AN-94 and the M416 depending on how well I'm playing. Some days, my aim is complete crap, so I switch to the M416 with the red dot sight and try to get some close-range kills.
I unlocked something after the An-94 last night with all my whoring. Could be that gun, I shall check it out.

And I find the red dot sight is useless gimmick as most of the time it hinders, not helps you. By hiding the target.

The M16 is also really fun to use with 4x optics. You burn through ammo fast though, so always have an ammo pack at your side for prolonged firefights.
Noted, I shall check it out.

Not a fan of single round burst fire. I am not that accurate.
Platinum'd the AEK-971.
Haven't touched this since I was BF noob :D Tempted to go back and try it again now...
Think I might play some engineer to finish nlocking those weapons.
XM8 Compact, nuff said.

what is the difference between silver and bronze dog tags?

It is the level of the person afaik

Found this...

  • Bronze: Knife kill a player with the ranking 1-21 which is up to First Sergeant III and stops before officers.
  • Silver: Knife kill a player with the ranking 22-45 which is from Warrant Officer I to Colonel III
  • Gold: Knife kill a player with the ranking 46-50 which is from Brigadier General I to General of the Army.

^it was an avenger kill too because you just sniped me. i even looked at you for like two seconds waiting for you to turn around so i could do it while you faced me... but never happened add me to your friends list, johnblaze00. ill attempt to when i get home.

What's so bad about that?

And it's weird that your screen shot isn't showing my weapon rank. Do you remember what server that was on?

the one you always play on... i always wanna join you, but its always full. forget the name, sorry

Why is it on this game on the Xbox, no one plays at night. But if i play this time of day. It's always filled.

because xbox games are full of kiddies whose bedtime is 9pm? ;)

I won't go as far to say that but from my experiences it's pretty easy to get a late night game, never had any issues with that. On the pc that is.

@Pixel

I jump servers a lot, generally if there's room for my friends and I I'll follow trag3dy if not whatever server has a good ping and enough room. I'll try to remember to add all of you to my list tomorrow or later tonight.

Do we ever play during 'normal' times?

Not really so far.

Unrelated, I got a triple team kill with destruction 2.0 last night.

Only -45 points.

Noticed that as well. And it usually is when I get the 8 v 8 or less matches. It's also the worst in terms of balance since there is no auto-balance.

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Sonic Racing, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games store brought along two games from wildly different genres this week for PC gamers to claim. Robobeat is a rhythm-based action game that lets you become a bounty hunter that can wall run, slide, and bunny hop around his opponents. All you have to do is stick to the beat for the built-in or custom songs. Next, Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station. It uses tabletop RPG-inspired elements like dice rolls and timers to change up how players approach its activities, factions, and storylines. The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways end on June 25. On the same day, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will become the next freebies. The bundle space expanded with two more collections from Humble this week too. The June 2unes bundle is up first, carrying plenty of rhythm games. This carries Kill the Music and Rhythm Witch in the $5 starting tier, followed by Trombone Champ, Spin Rhythm XD, and Thumper in the $7 tier. Paying at least $12 gets you the complete bundle, which adds on Kalpa: Cosmic Symphony, Everhood 2, NOISZ, and Sixtar Gate: StarTrail. The next bundle is for virtual reality fans. This carries Among Us 3D: VR and Zero Caliber VR for $10. The next tier brings in Tactical Assault VR, Ancient Dungeon, and Arizona Sunshine Remake for $15. VTOL VR, Zero Caliber 2 Remastered, Metro Awakening, and Thief VR land to finish things off for $18. Free Events It's a big week for free event fans, as Valve kicked off another one of its Next Fest events. This one carries thousands of gameplay slices from upcoming indie games The promotion is set to run until June 22. Standard free events are also ongoing this weekend. This includes the sci-fi grand strategy experience Stellaris from Paradox and the hit SEGA management game Two Point Museum. Asymmetric multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight and the hit mech shooter MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries are also free-to-play over the weekend.
