Noticed that as well. And it usually is when I get the 8 v 8 or less matches. It's also the worst in terms of balance since there is no auto-balance.

Every night I played (ranging from 4pm to 5am EST), I always had games. Lowest I ever got was 8v8 which in a few minutes was up to 10v10 and 12v12. The only gametype where I'm constantly not having full groups is Squad Deathmatch. No problems on 360 for me. That's running in a squad of 2-4 and solo.

Add me: "not dajew" (PC). The BF:BC2 signature generator signature images is not working for me. Does anyone know where I can get the stats from EA themselves and host them myself with my own images so it will work?

These are the official EA BC2 stats here: http://bfbcs.com/

But I have no idea h ow you can make your own stat sig with them though.

Edit: Actually on the front page it says:

Stats graphics / sigs are in progress.3/28: Dogtags are added to the BFBC2 Player stats3/22: JSON API for pulling stats is online3/22: PC Stats Search problems fixedXBOX360 and PS3 Player search is currently not working. But players getting found by dogtags.

So I guess we'll be able to get sigs official from EA?

Well, since we are on 360 and we can't pick and choose servers, I'll take you for your word. I played last night from 1030pm PDT to 1230am PDT and about the last 45 minutes or so it was 6 v 6. Never had 12 v 12 in that timeframe. And I don't think we ever said there weren't games, there's plenty of games, just not finding the players. It is what it is and since it is on console, we are at the mercy of whatever games we get put in.

It does not seem like it is by EA because of "Copyright ? Dominik "1ApRiL" Herbst" and it links to a private forum. :/ Oh well, I will just update my stats manually into a sig or something.

Hmm, well I could have sworn it was linked to from one of the battlefield pages as their official stats page.

why dont people just call them 'physics kills' or something... you save 4 letters, two numbers , a space and a full stop....

Simple answer: that sounds stupid. And it's actually called Destruction 2.0 in the game.

I'm not sure if you're trying to be sarcastic or what..?

I won't go as far to say that but from my experiences it's pretty easy to get a late night game, never had any issues with that. On the pc that is.

Man i hate this lobby system. Man i wish my PC had a more powerful processor for i can play these games again. I miss the KB+M .

Man I was having my best game ever. Had like 60 kills as medic and was in first by far and then comcast's dns servers died and kicked me off of ea online and my stats never got counted :(

happened to me tons of times.. always end up walking it off lol

happy B-Day btw ;)

Speaking of spawn camping, I miss the grievances/exploits from BF2. Don't get me wrong, I love having BC2's (relatively) better polish because it makes for a more thrilling/solid experience, but I laughed/screamed my ass off so many times playing BF2 since it was more sandbox'ish, I miss those days.

(Both giving and receiving the following)

C4 on a jet if you don't get in

C4 on a heli full of teammates

Getting run over while repairing a vehicle

Enemy boat spotted

Stealing the enemy's jet(s)

Crashing your first 10-20 helis/planes (oh wait I still do that lol)

Failing to initiate your parachute

*Climb ladder, see Claymore, lol ded*

->Further, dying on a ladder = no res

Climbing a high tower/crane and using the high-cal sniper to camp the enemy's jets on the runway

I could go on...

Anyone who loved BF2 should watch this, you'll probably get quite a few laughs

Spawn camping & BF games go hand in hand. Always have - probably always will.

Indeed. It's the one big complaint I have about the game, and it's the reason I tend to shy away from BF games when I only have a little bit of time to spare. One bad server and you've completed wasted your time on something that wasn't fun.

Inconsistent is the way that I would probably describe the game. At its best, it's the finest multiplayer game I've played in a long time, and at its worst (stacked teams, spawn camping), I'd sooner be playing TF2.

got my first gold dog tag and my kill/death ratio took a hit in the game trying to get it haha

Nice. I didn't realize anybody had levelled up that far yet. If I ever run into a player carrying a gold dog tag (Level 46+ if my memory serves me), I'm going to be his shadow, kill/death ratio be damned ;).

he was level 43...gold dog tags are between level 40-50(iirc). I was more suprised him being on my server lol never seen someone that high on my serve so it had to be done. Tbh the guy wasn't that good :/

    • Zed 1.7.2 has landed with updated OpenCode models, bug fixes and other improvements by David Uzondu Zed 1.7.2 recently landed on the stable release channel, bringing a host of AI-related features including automatic context compaction and settings-based skill management, along with other things like better Markdown preview rendering and custom git commands in the graph view. Starting with the AI stuff, the developers introduced "/compact", a command that basically summarizes your conversation history on demand. This tool prevents your active chat window from hitting token limits by compressing older parts of the dialogue into a brief overview. In addition to that, the team relocated skill management to the settings UI, improving how the application communicates errors regarding those skills, and updated the OpenCode model roster to support DeepSeek V4 Flash, MiniMax M3, Qwen 3.7 Plus, and Nemotron 3 Ultra Free. External agent users can also monitor context window cost metrics and delete individual sessions directly from their history. Right-clicking ref labels in the git graph now opens a context menu that runs different actions against selected targets, kind of how VS Code does it. Here are some of the bug fixes this new release brings: The active agent fails to auto-select when creating a new git worktree. A scrollbar unexpectedly appears on wrapped code blocks in the agent chat. Collapse indicators for project headers appear when performing sidebar searches. Bracketed ellipsis title prefixes fail to show the ellipsis icon properly. Project icons render incorrectly in the recent projects picker. Diff hunk controls appear inside non-editable commit view multibuffers. The software update button hangs indefinitely on the downloading stage. Restoring an agent terminal in a remote project triggers a sudden crash. Splitting a pane that contains an active commit view causes a crash. Linux Wayland freezes when trying to read the clipboard from laggy external apps. Zed is a "newish" code editor trying to break the massive stronghold VS Code has on the developer community. Funny enough, the editor was created by former GitHub employees who worked on the Atom text editor (which Microsoft killed in 2022, several years after it bought GitHub). The project officially hit version 1.0 back in April, introducing platform parity for Windows and Linux alongside deep support for DeepSeek-V4-Pro.
    • 26H2 absolutely will support ARM Windows just not on devices that came with 26H1. This is evident by the fact I am running 26H2, which on my MacBook Neo and Surface Pro 12 (inch), within a VM.

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
