How can you view your stats? I haven't been able to see that stats page since all that was merged into one site 2-3 weeks ago. I can only look at my veteran info.

This is EA's stats page? Or for Veteran's that own all the previous BF games?

The link you posted does not take me anywhere except the EA Bad Company page.... hence my question about veteran

Simple answer: that sounds stupid. And it's actually called Destruction 2.0 in the game.

I'm not sure if you're trying to be sarcastic or what..?

im not trying to be sarcastic, Destruction 2.0 is the physics engine in the game, so technically any kills that you get with it are attributed to the physics

just because its a generic term doesnt mean it has to sound stupid... ?what if that "Destruction 2.0" name catches on and people start using it to describe any similar kills in future games, even if the physics engine was a completely different one...

The EA's bad company page is now the veteran page.... if you would of logged in you would of been able to see what I mean. Heres a pic for proof.

Now do you see what I mean?

The single player is not only very hard, but it is very frustrating and crap. It seems EA built up a single player game around a multiplayer game. There isn't much to the single player, go here, shot that, go here, shot some more, you're done.

Thats pretty much it. DICE is Perfect at multiplayer. Thats where they shine, the multiplayer was just there for ****s and giggles. First multiplayer ive played for any game especially an FPS for a long time and I enjoyed it. Funny/witty comments, fun gameplay, etc. Either way I jumped online first like always.

But, the new MoH seems promising. If IW does the story and DICE does the multiplayer like planned, it will be a epic game.

the original site was pulled because they put http://www.badcompany2.ea.com/veteran up.

You can view your stats right away. They are updated every second pretty much. Also veteran management is now easier and better integrated. The original site will be back for other games like it use to be or each games offical ea page(game.ea.com) will have the veteran system incoporated.

But yeah that's the website, easier to manage.

@rajput: yeah I'm getting the good ping / bad lag issue. But what I noticed was the server browser starts showing you servers closer to you so basically every Chicago server I'm a regular. Works great. Waiting for r9 servers to fix other servers.

Thanks

It'd be a bit silly to buy this game for the SP experience, imo.

It's passable but only about 20% of the game.....

Apparently you've never played BF before

Btw, DICE are the developers, not EA. It's also why DICE have been roped into MoH later this year to handle MP. That series fell flat on it's face with MP previously.

@Sikh, IW have nothing to do with the MoH reboot? It's EA/DICE.

I have faith IW will come back for it. MoH is there first title or was.

Come back for it? Dude, you're off in a day dream. The game is releasing this fall. They aren't allowed to develop a game for anyone else but Activision. Did you miss the whole debacle 2 weeks ago?

They are still mid-contract with them until the end of the year iirc.

Oh I know, but I also realize as soon as activision fired them that the contract should be broken, and the fact that IW is in a lawsuit to get there own "name" back as well as the rights for call of duty and the loyalties for MW2, im pretty sure they could "come back" and help develop MoH.

Is it plausible? No lol. But I want it to happen god damnit. IW needs to make games without activision.

Once the dust settles on the whole issue I think they'll probably start their own studio again & everyone will be throwing money at them.

Going to EA is the easy option, but after the way Activision treated them, I sincerely doubt they'll ever trust another publisher again to own their IP.I know I wouldn't.

It's too bad they didn't spend more time on the SP then. They surely haven't given us a $60 game. Maybe they should have just sold the multiplayer portion of the game on XBLA/PSN for $15 or $20, like Battlefield 1943.

Anyone else getting random servers with low pings but you are lagging like a mofo for some reason? Random servers for me (that are usually perfect) are having random jumps in ping/latency (whatever DICE is calling it now) and makes the game unplayable.
Yes me! Either I am rubber banding like a bitch or my enemy is. Even happened on my regular server last night. Honestly some of the worst netcode I have ever seen!
Meh, that is just for the awards, not actually gameplay stuff.

Anyone can awards ######...

Yea, that's true, but don't take this moment away from me. :(

I had a good round prior to the round above where I actually had a good combat score. I didn't take a screenshot of it though.

I mainly play Squad Deathmatch so there isn't too much time to accumulate a high combat score.

Oops, sorry didn't mean to do that

Just a little bit of info for the neowin players. If you shoot a tracer at a tank helicopters like the apache and the russian version's missiles will home in on the tracer. Hope this helps everyone.

I haven't tried it to see if you have to target the tank for a certain amount of time like rpg's though. But I think it's still useful information.

Edit: Also the alt fire perk gives the attack heli's extra missiles for the gunner. And the smoke perk will clear a tracer from a vehicle and break missile locks. But that goes for any vehicle that has a tracer or missile lock on it.

    • Insane. This is as crazy as COVID back in 2020, where you could go back one year in time and tell them that everybody's gonna be locked in and now with memory that your old computer was going to be worth more tomorrow
