I'm not afraid of dying too but playing Rambo-style gets boring quickly. You die, wait X seconds, and respawn only to die again. When I play, I usually go all out when planting or defusing an M-COM. In Conquest mode, I take my sweet time and rack up a lot of kills.

Sure that might happen but with me, I'll take at least 3 baddies down with me, and then I die. And then depending on my team mates (who are either dumb as **** or well organized co-ordinate players take your pick) we we get the objective.
Bring a decent medic then. :p
+1 to this. Nothing like dying, getting rez'd, and dishing out some revenge kills :D

Finally unlocked the m95 the other day, and my god its awesome, normally i suck at snipping on this, but first time i used the m95, racked up 10 kills in a few minutes, i dont know why so many people use the Gol, m95 is so much better i find, pretty much 1 shot kill

There was an awesome suggestion a few pages back about using the tracer gun on teammates who are annoying you. Just shoot them right in the face, and the dart completely obscures their vision. I haven't tried this myself, though. Nobody has made me angry enough to try... yet :).

I was playing Recon and had someone do that to me. But I don't think he realized it was a team killing allowed server. So I just pointed my sniper at him and killed him. You'd think a decision like that (to kill a team mate) would come back to hurt you. But nothing happened.

The Gol is way more accurate and faster to aim. I find damage on sniper rifles is moot for the most part because when I'm playing recon with a sniper rifle I'm going for head shots anyways, and that's 1 shot 1 kill.

I prefer the accuracy of the GOL, M95 is good, but the GOL is better in my opinion.

So you decided to TK him? Yeah, I wouldn't have stood for that, I would have TKed you back.

Same. As a recon player I always go for the head shot unless I see someone that has just taken fire, then I hit them anywhere. Because of this the Gol is my choice of weapons.

Hell yes. I am not scared of dying, unlike 98% of players who play this game. I quit shortly after that game, when I found 4 team members just staring at an armed M-COM station, all too scared to disarm it because of dying. I HATE and I really do mean HATE players that are scared to die, and worry about their K/D ratio.

Agreed

So you decided to TK him? Yeah, I wouldn't have stood for that, I would have TKed you back.

He wanted to grief me by blocking my view. Everywhere I looked there was this bright red glow that obstructed my vision. So obviously I killed him for being such a jerk. Had he not done anything to me he wouldn't of had to sit out the game for 10 seconds or however long the respawn was. And he never TK'd me back because I doubt he remembered who did it.

If people want to play Recon, just let them, don't be a jerk about it and try to stick trackers to there faces and things.

Every time I decide to use a shotgun everyone goes really far away from me and pistols/handguns aren't as good as people with machine guns and whatnot....

Throw on the 12 gage mod. Its like sniping. :p

I also should note i play only in hardcore now. So shottys are 1 hit kills.

I play Rush all the time. Played a few SQDM games before and it was really fun.

We should have a Neowin 360 game night one day, but a lot of people here seem to have it on PC...if only they could do that 360->PC connectivity again...That's be great!

    • You're absolutely right! No reason in hell these should be on the road!
    • They aren't going to want to. Most would just go with the 17 Pro and save money. Why would they want to spend $300 for basically the same thing? It's not worth it if there are hardly any changes from year to year.
    • 24H2 rolled out to the Release Preview Channel in early June 2024, so this coming a bit later in the Experimental Channel (formerly Dev) doesn't really say much more than earlier H2 releases that came out in October. I am not sure what the thinking is here by putting it in Experimental, one would think that the 26H2 stamp means features are locked down and it's now bug tested until October? I don't even pretend to understand Microsoft's strategy for Windows Insider Program though
