It's my understanding that they were looking for more and more realism. The weapons, including their sound, their kick, their graphics, and even reproducing the bullet drop over long distances.

But here nor there, I would have found prone (a common stance in shooters) to be a welcome option. Not that I don't see some good reasons to NOT have it, but I have reasons that I do want it.

Fair enough. If you want it you want it. I am with Sethos though on this one.

Also just to address what you said, I think DICE saying what you referenced above about the weapons, from the point of view of someone who has played the series since inception, is that it sounds more like marketing gimmick talk than anything else. "The most realistic sounding guns in any video game!" "Real Life Gun Textures!!" It all sounds catchy. I cannot help but think they were touting those aspects more from a WOW factor than they are an integral aspect of our game factor. I could be wrong though who knows.

Anyways... fixed my problem. God damn server browser had some how got an X on ranked server filter. What a stupid system they have in place. It's so confusing. All that trouble for 1 little X.

Good to hear. But I definitely have to agree. I am not a fan of the new server system whatsoever.

Not everyone is the same or will agree on everything. That is what is beautiful about being human. It's all good. I respect your desire to not have prone.

Has anyone tried tank/vehicle flying?

Me and my mate tried it the other day, was hilarious, you just find (or make a crater) and fill it with mines and c4, then drive a tank or jeep (i find they're the best) into the crater and get sum1 to chuck a grenade into it. And since a teammate is in the vehicle it doesn't blow up (until it lands) so goes flying into the sky across the map (into an enemy base if you judge it right)

Whatever the case, it's not really clear what options do what. The filter options pre patch were more clear.

yeah i agree, it took a little bit to see how they were doing it... The problem is that they just stuffed more options into little space, not really re-doing anything.

i haven't seen you online in a few days so hurry up and get back playing...

This saves me from giving you any more of my tagsdevil.gif Having net issues, been trying to fix it all day. No idea when I'll be on next.

Rambo medics and cg spamming engineers are really starting to get old. The thing that bugs me about this game the most is that those are the only 2 classes you need and it's GG game over.

I just got out of a game where literally, it was about 50/50 medic engineers on opposite team. And they all have to say that we got owned/raped by their no talent skill less asses. I guess they honestly think they're good at the game playing only those 2 classes? It's really frustrating to say the least. It's just an endless barrage of carl gustav spam with revives whenever someone is killed.

CG needs a set up time and medic revive needs a longer cool down. That's the only way to fix it, imo. 2-3 seconds on the cg and 10+ seconds for the revive.

Had massive session tonight. Finally got platinum on my M16A2 (Y) Started working on the XM8 Prototype, already up to 5 gold stars :D

Also ran into some idiot by the name of :Scorch:, who was threatening to ban me because I dared to answer back to him. I spoke to the admin later on, and they have now kicked him out of the clan

@Singh400: you will always get ******s like those in games and life. Just get them banned and let it go. I use to react and shut them up hard. Now I laugh everytime they type and they shut up haha.
Yeah managed to get them banned from three servers so far. I have been meaning to report them to DiCE/EA, just haven't got round to it.

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Sonic Racing, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games store brought along two games from wildly different genres this week for PC gamers to claim. Robobeat is a rhythm-based action game that lets you become a bounty hunter that can wall run, slide, and bunny hop around his opponents. All you have to do is stick to the beat for the built-in or custom songs. Next, Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station. It uses tabletop RPG-inspired elements like dice rolls and timers to change up how players approach its activities, factions, and storylines. The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways end on June 25. On the same day, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will become the next freebies. The bundle space expanded with two more collections from Humble this week too. The June 2unes bundle is up first, carrying plenty of rhythm games. This carries Kill the Music and Rhythm Witch in the $5 starting tier, followed by Trombone Champ, Spin Rhythm XD, and Thumper in the $7 tier. Paying at least $12 gets you the complete bundle, which adds on Kalpa: Cosmic Symphony, Everhood 2, NOISZ, and Sixtar Gate: StarTrail. The next bundle is for virtual reality fans. This carries Among Us 3D: VR and Zero Caliber VR for $10. The next tier brings in Tactical Assault VR, Ancient Dungeon, and Arizona Sunshine Remake for $15. VTOL VR, Zero Caliber 2 Remastered, Metro Awakening, and Thief VR land to finish things off for $18. Free Events It's a big week for free event fans, as Valve kicked off another one of its Next Fest events. This one carries thousands of gameplay slices from upcoming indie games The promotion is set to run until June 22. Standard free events are also ongoing this weekend. This includes the sci-fi grand strategy experience Stellaris from Paradox and the hit SEGA management game Two Point Museum.
