Rambo medics and cg spamming engineers are really starting to get old. The thing that bugs me about this game the most is that those are the only 2 classes you need and it's GG game over.

I just got out of a game where literally, it was about 50/50 medic engineers on opposite team. And they all have to say that we got owned/raped by their no talent skill less asses. I guess they honestly think they're good at the game playing only those 2 classes? It's really frustrating to say the least. It's just an endless barrage of carl gustav spam with revives whenever someone is killed.

CG needs a set up time and medic revive needs a longer cool down. That's the only way to fix it, imo. 2-3 seconds on the cg and 10+ seconds for the revive.

it's true, the assault guys and snipers are definitely diminishing in numbers... effin m60 is a stupid cheap gun now.

It amazes me how many people don't see it as a problem. They say if you can't beat them join them. Well I can beat them. The problem is that there is more than 1 person on the opposite team. I can kill 3-4 a life and it doesn't matter because the other 5 or 6 medics will come along and revive them.

screw joining'em. just killem. I do wish my m16 was as strong before the update.

I have definitely noticed an increase in the amount of engineers lately. I don't even know why. Maybe it's like trag3dy said and people are just giving in and joining the crowd. There used to be an equal number of assault and engineers on the servers I play in, but now the engineers outnumber the assault players by quite a bit.

On the bright side, I've been racking up a lot more resupply points now. I was in a squad with all engineers (with me as assault) and they kept running out of ammo, lol. :)

Yup, I do as well. I think the 360 has the largest online population.

No doubt about that, but it seems PC players have the most community presence.

(stats on the left).

Early on, this was surprising too.

My linkhttp://kotaku.com/5487038/battlefield-bad-company-2-players-prefer-pc-to-console

DICE associate producer Barrie Tingle has revealed that at the moment, during the week of the game's retail release, more people are playing the PC version of the game than are playing the 360 or PS3 editions (though not as many as both combined).

I really wonder how it is now. 360 still seems saturated with MW2 and Halo.

^ i don't care what anyone says. FPS belong on PC

and is anyone else stats not updating via http://bfbc2.statsverse.com ?

It updated for me as soon as I went to the site. It says next update in 6 hours now.

I saw my first rank 50 player last night. I can't imagine how long he must have played to get it.. he certainly wasn't that good.

Why people still prefer aiming with a lousy controller compared to a keyboard and my highly accurate Razer gaming mouse, I still can't understand

That is the way I felt about keyboard/mice. Hated them for as long as I was a PC gamer. I still game PC (for PC only games), but love using a controller.

I have a confession to make. I just got my first gold star on the 40mm grenade launcher :( I am officially a noob. To be fair I have only started using it after they nerfed it. But it is great for softening up huge crowds of baddies.

Also got my 5 days online badge (which is kinda of sad, I must have something else to do!) and my platinum star on the XM8 Prototype (Y)

while a mouse might be much more accurate, I find a controller so much more comfortable to play with. I can coordinate very well in fps.

I have platinum with the 40mm grenade launcher. But but but but, I also have platinum with the XM8, M416, An-94, and M16, and 8 gold stars going on 9 with the AUG. It's justified.

I really didn't go out of my way to get it though, it only requires 500 kills which really isn't that much. I'm not trying to brag, I just think it's not something you should worry about. If you use it for it's intended purposes there's no problem.

after the patch...knifing is really really bad......i nearly rage quit a few times from missing at point blank....

i sneak up behind them and knife...he makes the motion but no kill, do it a few more times...nothing.....then the other guy gets wise and kills me =\

Yeah, knifing is really messed up. I've missed out on a good 50+ kills now because of how messed up it is.

But..it's like if it takes you 3 seconds to aim the crosshair to an enemy using the joystick, I can do it in a blink of an eye with a mouse :D Oh well, never mind lol I think this debate is never ending anyway

I also have four golds with the noob tube :). Those were all attained before the patch though. I haven't been getting many 40mm kills post-patch, so I'm not sure if I'll ever make it to platinum now.

Yeah, knifing is really messed up. I've missed out on a good 50+ kills now because of how messed up it is.

Indeed. It has reached the point where I'll just shoot somebody when I see them with their back turned instead of going for the knife. I'll knife in the situations where it's the best option (clip is dry, enemy is within striking distance), but I don't really go for "humiliation kills" anymore. At least not until they fix the knife.

On a different note, the 40mm shotgun is full of fail. I shot someone with it, not once, but twice, got a hit marker both times and they still managed to kill me. I see their health in the death screen...yeah, they were at 49% health. This was from 10-15 feet maybe. Shot a different person with it from the back, again from 10-15 feet away, again got a hit marker and no kill.

Why on earth did they nerf this weapon? I really have no idea.

But..it's like if it takes you 3 seconds to aim the crosshair to an enemy using the joystick, I can do it in a blink of an eye with a mouse :D Oh well, never mind lol I think this debate is never ending anyway

controller does have it's advantage. like the fact you can just lay back and chill with a remote. can't do that with a keyboard/mouse

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Sonic Racing, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games store brought along two games from wildly different genres this week for PC gamers to claim. Robobeat is a rhythm-based action game that lets you become a bounty hunter that can wall run, slide, and bunny hop around his opponents. All you have to do is stick to the beat for the built-in or custom songs. Next, Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station. It uses tabletop RPG-inspired elements like dice rolls and timers to change up how players approach its activities, factions, and storylines. The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways end on June 25. On the same day, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will become the next freebies. The bundle space expanded with two more collections from Humble this week too. The June 2unes bundle is up first, carrying plenty of rhythm games. This carries Kill the Music and Rhythm Witch in the $5 starting tier, followed by Trombone Champ, Spin Rhythm XD, and Thumper in the $7 tier. Paying at least $12 gets you the complete bundle, which adds on Kalpa: Cosmic Symphony, Everhood 2, NOISZ, and Sixtar Gate: StarTrail. The next bundle is for virtual reality fans. This carries Among Us 3D: VR and Zero Caliber VR for $10. The next tier brings in Tactical Assault VR, Ancient Dungeon, and Arizona Sunshine Remake for $15. VTOL VR, Zero Caliber 2 Remastered, Metro Awakening, and Thief VR land to finish things off for $18. • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two. Poll Poll: How much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost? $59.99 $69.99 $79.99 $89.99 $100 or more Submit Vote If you have a very specific prediction in mind, sound off in the comments below.
