@Singh400

And I will push it to 1000 just out of principle. :p But, ya, I really hated SMGs when I was leveling engineer class and used CG as my primary weapon (mostly within mid-long range though). iirc this was pre-R7 patch. Fun fact, no one said anything about it, no whining at all. Only after R7 people suddenly realized they hate being killed by it.

I now have seen the light regarding the awesomeness of SMGs though. :D

It's not the dieing that bothers me, it's that people are so inept at the game that they have to resort to using the CG to kill some one who isn't even aware they are there from 20 feet away that bothers me.

If I get within 20 feet of some one and they aren't aware of me at the very least they're going to get pistol killed or 40mm shot gunned to the back of the head if not knifed.

I hate spawn campers the most- it's just pointless, they sit there shooting everybody who comes out of the sky. Give us a damn chance...

RPG's are what I get killed with most out of all the launchers- some random guy camping randomly fires it, one shot kill. Better than a sniper if you've got an ammo box.

Well, it does take some skill to kill infantry with the RPG from a range due to its slow speed, relatively small damage radius and substantial "bullet" drop.

They're usually level 45, but it's still annoying to say the least. Get a gun and kill with it.

My bull**** detector just broke. It takes no skill at all. I got like my 1st CG gold star in one map, and all I did was spam the CG. No. Skill. At. All.

Unless you get a ridiculously long-range kill with the CG, it really doesn't require that much skill to use. Just aim and fire. More than 80% of the time, that would result in a kill. As for the RPG, I can't comment on that as I rarely use it.

I was playing the other day and I noticed that the Assault class could use C4 if you equip a shotgun. At first, I thought it was a glitch but then I realized you couldn't really put a 40mm grenade launcher on a shotgun.

Yeah, the only class that can't use c4 is medics, unless the medic picks up a kit that has c4 on it, that is.

Anyways, all explosives in this game require very little skill to use, claiming otherwise is very lol worthy. There are things they could do to make the use of any of the rocket launchers require more forethought but that's not something they want apparently, evidenced by the AT4 nerf. Which was the only launcher that required a bit of skill to use.

I still can't believe of all things they nerfed one of the most balanced weapons in the game, the at4. Demize is a bloody moron. Its now completely pointless to use it over the rpg7 as it does the same damage, can't be used with tracer, and has less splash radius.

I don't think I've seen anyone use the M136 AT4 since... I can't even remember when. Oddly enough though, I racked up almost as much time with it as I did the CG (48m vs. 1h+). :/

I rediscovered the wonderful M416 today. The first time I've used it since I platinum stared it months ago and I had over 50 kills with it in the one round I used it in. To bad the damn game crashed right at the end of the round so I couldn't screen shot it. That's been happening more since the latest patch, my game crashing at round end that is.

Something else irritating has been happening since the patch as well. When using the M-24 rifle some times I'll scope in, and then how it would normally black out the entire screen but the scope view.. it gives me the ads like it would for any other non scoped weapon. It's kind of irritating and gotten me killed more than once. Anyone else experience this?

I know but the only thing that was nerfed was long range damage when used with slugs. The nerf brought it in line with usas so damage-wise both guns are the same.

I've been dicking around with pump-actions + slugs and man that's a fun combination. Since my aim sucks, every kill feels like an achievement :D

I just had a 1000 point score combo, it was awesome. It was a combination of squad attack orders, kills, and spamming the stationary at4 at an mcom to kill it. In case anyone is wondering stationary at4's kill mcoms pretty fast, in like 6 hits or so. To bad I failed to screen shot it.

I guess I'll have to start running fraps every time I play.

Sweet, thanks! Downloading this now, despite everything i've heard about it i can't miss out on the beta for a game with medal of honor in the title.

Wow... Just played about 20 minutes and I'm already disliking it. It's like a watered down, worse version of Bad Company 2. I know it's unfinished, but from what I've played I don't think any amount of work can save this. There isn't really anything redeeming about it, absolutely no reason to choose this over Bad Company 2 on any occasion.

    • This seems backwards. You should have to explicitly authorize files for outside use. It shouldn't be the default.
    • Wow you are right, I never even noticed this until you said it! (870E Aorus Master) Before testing this card I had a TP-Link tx401 10GbE PCIe card in that slot (now using XikeStor 310 Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter).
    • Lack of 5.1 makes this a no sale. What I really wish creative would make would be a USB version that supports 5.1 analog audio for speakers, can switch to headphone mode, and matches the specs of their top tier cards. The current X870E AMD motherboards dont have a great option for adding a PCIE x1 card without cutting down pcie lanes to the graphics card.
    • The Microsoft Office feature that time forgot by Usama Jawad I have been actively using Microsoft Word for the past couple of decades in academic, professional, and personal capacities. Although I used it through the perpetual version of Office apps at the start, I have been an active subscriber of Microsoft 365 Family subscription for over five years now. This means that my Word installation is regularly updated with new features, some of which I don't really like, but that's beside the point. As new features get continuously added, old ones that used to be a staple of Word have started to take a backseat. While I was reminiscing over my Windows experiences from my childhood today, I suddenly remember one such capability that I heavily used in my younger years but have not really touched in over a decade, and haven't seen in documents created by others either. That feature is WordArt. Just to clarify, WordArt is not a Microsoft product specific to Word, and is included in other Office apps like PowerPoint and Excel too. However, Microsoft Word is the app that I used Word Art in heavily, while making assignments or other deliverables for school. If you're unaware, WordArt offers a collection of styling techniques for text, introducing 3D effects like shadows and reflections in the text. It used to be one of the coolest things ever when I was at school and me and my classmates would often compete to ensure that our assignment's title in WordArt was truly the best and stood out above the rest. See some examples of WordArt, still present in the latest versions of Word below: Although WordArt is undeniably cool, it has taken a bit of a backseat, and has been relegated from the Home tab to the Insert toolbar, along with a bunch of other utilities, making it very easy to miss. This isn't exactly surprising because WordArt doesn't really have a place in academic and professional documents anymore, and while I have seen some creatives using it while developing promo material, even that sector has gravitated more towards dedicated graphic designing tools in the past years. For the vast majority of us, WordArt doesn't really exist, and that's alright. At least, it's still an option that can allow us to reminisce our childhood or even make some quick text stylization, if we really need it. Perhaps its usage has waned over time or the novelty has worn off, but I haven't even seen children use it in their academic assignments anymore. In fact, many don't even know that it exists. Maybe that's the fate of every beloved feature. What once felt cutting edge eventually becomes a relic, quietly tucked away as tastes, trends, and technology move on. WordArt may no longer dominate school assignments or decorate the covers of classroom projects, but for those of us who grew up with it, it remains a colorful reminder of a time when making text glow, bend, and cast giant shadows felt like the height of creativity. Hidden behind a few clicks in modern Word, it still survives not as a productivity tool, but as a small piece of computing nostalgia that refuses to disappear.
