I know this sounds really stupid, but the Flamethrower sound in the trailer sounds like a carbon copy of the one used in TF2. Or maybe it's just me.

Uh how else is a flamethrower supposed to sound, do you want it to play music?

What all these COD fans need is a good 2h session of BFBC2 with everything maxed out + War Tapes = best MP experience to date.

this i agree with. this game with an x-fi plus my shure840s headphones on war tapes is the most amazing sounding game i've ever heard.

Funny, didn't turn me around - Battlefield will never even come close to feel of shooting someone and the sharp, competitive gunplay. BC2 is just all over the place and more eye-candy than anything else.

Yeah, I knew it sounded stupid, you would expect a little sound variation mind you.

Anyway, it takes freaking forever to rank up in this game, you must be really patient to get to 50.

Are you implying COD is?

The playtest map looks like Oasis.

Just been announce that DICE maybe bringing new maps to Bad Company 2 as they have posted on their blog

Playtesting a new map?

Any guesses as to what map that is? My first guess was Road to Jalalabad from Battlefield 2. It wouldn't be surprising considering the recent announcement of Battlefield Play 4 Free.

Its either road, but I feel it looks like Strike at Karkand when your running down the hill. No the one apart of the capture point but the other mini ramp basically.

I say this because if you look to the right, it looks like you can see the tall building faintly, the one that was famous for sniping from when you ran down the hill to invade the first capture point.

But either map, ill be ****ing glad. Old School Kickass Maps + Frostbite ='s Gorgeous.

Can you somehow untie the copy of the game from your EA account? I want to give my game to a friend of mine, but don't want to give him my EA account (which got a few other games on it).

As far as I know you can't. He can buy the VIP access thing though, and that will allow him to be able to play mulitplayer. It's cheaper than buying a full version of the game I think.

thanks for the map pack i guess... one day before i get CoD :/

Well the map pack doesn't even have a release date yet, I don't think.

Anyway, it's not like when one gets a new game everything else is put in the bin.

It's kind of interesting; last year when I burnt out on MW2 I then went on to BC2 and, it looks like, when I burn out on black ops I'll go back to BC2 and Vietnam.

Ah, so the screenshot I linked earlier was Oasis. I wouldn't have known because I didn't play Bad Company. It's nice that they're still releasing maps for Bad Company 2 especially with BC2: Vietnam on the way.
