Yeah, I have a history (usually called a "rap sheet", but I like your term better!).

I have been called a Microsoft fanboy my previous time around. Now to see if I can top that! :shifty:

Say it ain't so.... a MS fanboi? I won't believe it!

Congrats Mark!

I took a bit of a break from Neowin and many other websites, but when I came back here and began to read what had been posted in the Linux forum recently, I seen the G-Mod button underneath Mark's avatar. I thought, "Was that there before?" Apparently, it wasn't. Congrats Mark! Here's hoping that your days are long and your rap sheet short! :pint:

Really? I would say you are more of a Linux dude, to be honest.

<insert ass kissing here>

:rofl:

I'm SURE we can help you out there you Linux fanboy!! :)

Seriously though, your help has been outstanding even if you don't know that you've helped me.

I am a Linux dude. 100% for what, 6 years now?

The accusation that I was a Windows fanboy was due to some moderation I made in the main news section. Some anti-Microsoft troll broke some rule, so I issued a warning. And, mind you, warnings (especially first ones) didn't have any consequences. But they were extremely offended that I snipped out some offensive bit or such and accused me of mindlessly defending Microsoft since I apparently had nightly carnal knowledge of Bill Gates or some such (according to him).

Ah, the abuse is part of the joys of being a moderator. :ermm:

Ah, the irony. Reminds me of my time as mod over at ReaderRant. I've always been sort of middle of the road, and every Republican poster blasted me for favoring Democrats when I had to edit their posts, and every Democrat accused me of being favoring the Republicans. It got old after a time but I can look back and laugh now. :)
