How do I remove a screw whos head has been damaged?

I have a screw which is unscrewable do to damage done do it from trying to unscrew it with a screwdriver. Is there any tool to remove the damaged screw? The screw is very small and is in a very small hole BTW.

If that doesn't work you can buy a special drill bit that drills into the stripped screw head so you can pull it out.

Drill the head out, then take off whatever it's holding together. Hopefully you'll then have enough left that you can unscrew it with a pair of pliers.

depending on what it is that its inside and if that screw is needed you could drill the head out. this is a last resort though. i would try an extraction kit first.

I think the elastic band is the best idea so far and if that fails get an extraction kit

So this is the easiest and cheapest way?

Just so some of you get the picture of the size of the hole (and the screw is inside even though It cannot be seen)

You could try some very small alan keys (they can get incredibly small as I have tonnes for my road bike). That would probably work.

I have succesfully removed a damaged screw by glueing the screwdriver to it lol

Depending on how tight it is, you could use a glue like Araldite, or no more nails - preferably strong and quick drying
